Kindred Expands Office Space and Plans 250 New Employees

Europe’s leading online gambling operator, Kindred Group, that owns 11 renowned brands like Unibet, Maria Casino, 32Red, and iGame…

…has officially moved its Stockholm headquarters to a new building where it will have more space for more new employees.

Besides that, the new headquarters in the Swedish capital look like a true state-of-the-art facility and take up a staggering 7000 square meters.

Increasing the Workforce

Along with the expansion of the office space from 3000 square meters to 7000 square meters, Kindred officials said that they expect to hire up to 250 new employees in the next few years.

By moving to the AMF Real Estate in Urban Espace facility in Stockholm, 350 of the current employees will enjoy more space as they will have their offices spread across two floors…

…and will share the building with other world-famous IT companies like Microsoft, EQT and Netlight.

Great Revenue Numbers

Kindred Group actually has a number of offices all around the world and it employs around 1500 staff worldwide.

The officials expect even bigger growth in the number of employees in the future because of the great increase in revenue in the past year.

The company, that is, by the way, listed on Nasdaq Stockholm Large Cap exchange posted a staggering 20.8% rise in year-on-year revenue in 2018…

…which, in other words, came up to £907.6 million (€1.0bn/$1.2bn).

Since January 1, 2019, Kindred went live in the newly regulated Swedish market, which turned out to be a huge success for the company.

“It is very exciting to finally move into new premises in the middle of Stockholm where we can continue to grow at a fast pace,” chief executive for Kindred Group, Henrik Tjärnström, said.

“Since the birth of Kindred more than 20 years ago, it has been important for us to create a work environment that reflects our culture and our values.

“We are in an expansive phase right now and the new premises will allow us to grow rapidly. Several hundred new employees will be recruited to the Stockholm office in order for Kindred to secure its position as a digital gambling company at the forefront of technology development and sustainability,” he added.

Kindred Expands in Europe

Unibet, the renowned brand owned by Kindred, became an official betting partner of the Qatar Goodwood horseracing festival – commonly known as ‘Glorious Goodwood’ – in the UK county of Sussex.

This festival will take place from July 30 to August 3 of this year…

…and Unibet signed a three-year deal up to 2021.

The agreement includes exclusive naming rights for the feature races throughout the week, including the Stewards’ Cup, Golden Mile, and Nursery Stakes.

Teaming up with Relax Gaming

Open casino platform and games provider, Relax Gaming, has struck a supply deal with Kindred. This long-term agreement will see the supplier’s poker offerings integrated onto the operator’s gaming platform in .

Apart from launching its poker variants at the beginning of Q2, which are very popular in the region, Relax will also reveal its latest addition to the library – HexaPro.
