It’s the final countdown! The latest edition of Football Manager is just around the corner and is announced for November 8, 2022, so all football fans are eagerly awaiting this legendary game!
Although it is still not fully announced which new features will represent this popular game, one important piece of information is already available – All UEFA Club Competitions will be fully licensed in FM23!
Sports Interactive, a British video game developer based in London, announced that they have acquired all necessary rights for all 4 UEFA competitions! FM23 will feature official licensing of the Champions League, Europa League, Europa Conference League as well as the Super Cup.
This represents a significant improvement because all fans of the Football Manager will no longer need to add data packs manually or install additional patches and updates. These licenses provide playing all official UEFA competitions with all accurate logos and titles.
This game is so popular among football players because it strives for authenticity. Of course, this was not always the case and older fans of this game CM 01/02 where the legend was Maksim Tsyhalka. But, after that, in the next, improved editions, then unknown Marco Verratti and Sergio Aguero appeared in the game, loaded as young stars with a lot of potential – and we all know what kind of playing career they had.
So, with newer releases, the game is getting closer to reality because Sports Interactive has been building its own network of researchers, analysts and scouts who attend real-life matches and training sessions in order to file detailed reports on football players for years.
For example, Everton signed an official deal to use that FM database! Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, a former Manchester United coach, gave credit to the game because it helped him to prepare for a coaching career! This proves how close the game is to reality.
The 2022 edition managed to sell more than a million copies on PC/Mac platforms, and this year, FM23 will debut on the PS5 Apple Arcade!
In addition, as before, Football Manager 2023 will first be presented as a Beta version, which will give fans a chance to test the game before its full release. The Beta version will arrive 2 weeks before the final release.
