Microgaming Signs Major Software Agreement with GVC Holdings

Microgaming, one of the leading companies in the iGaming industry, has signed a major casino software agreement with gaming and sports betting group, GVC Holdings.

The deal signed between the two companies will see a variety of the leading developer’s content go live together with a selection of GVC’s online gaming brands during 2020, including Coral, Gala Bingo, Gala casino, Ladbrokes and Betdaq.

This agreement comes after a deal that both companies signed in 2017, which saw Microgaming’s content made available on its partner’s bwin, partycasino and partypoker gaming sites in regulated markets in Spain, Italy, Belgium and the United Kingdom.

Continuous Growth

Obdulio Bacarese, director of commercial management at GVC, commented: “As players’ expectations are continuously evolving, it is imperative we continue to keep up with their demands and what better way to do so than partnering with Microgaming. Microgaming’s immense experience, reputation and performance in delivering quality and innovative content is second-to-none, and we look forward to taking their portfolio of market-leading games live across our brands over the next few months to deliver a world class-experience to our players.”

The of the deal also state that GVC will be able to further improve its existing casino offering and provide its players with Microgaming’s portfolio of exclusive content, including games such as Immortal Romance, Thunderstruck II, Jurassic World and Lara Croft Temples and Tombs.

Officials from Microgaming, which recently entered the Portuguese market, say that their partner has a portfolio that includes leading brands and that they are a key partner for them and that they are looking forward to working with them as they both strive towards providing the market with the best possible experiences.

Andrew Clucas, chief operating officer at Microgaming, noted: “Home to an extensive portfolio of leading brands, GVC are a key partner for Microgaming.
