Greentube Acquires CashBet Coin’s Cryptocurrency

Greentube, the part of NOVOMATIC’s Interactive division, has finalized the acquisition of the major part of CashBet Coin’s CBC cryptocurrency, together with its underlying blockchain technologies.

This acquisition allows Greentube to enhance the use of cryptocurrency through its social gaming portfolio and comes after the successful trial integration of CBC with its flagship brand GameTwist, which was signed last year. The casino which is one of the world’s largest online gaming communities is now able to offer cryptocurrency as an alternative payment method in each market it operates and players are able to buy Twist credits using CBC across its collection of over 400 games.

Representatives from Greentube, which recently welcomed a new member to its management team, say that this acquisition of CashBet Coin Treasury allows them to expand the use of blockchain solutions as they are evaluating the spread across their B2C casino portfolio that enhances the customer experience.
