Poland has officially launched its first regulated online casino in collaboration with Playtech, the world’s largest supplier of iGaming and sports betting software. The launch of Total Casino is ed by the state-owned National Lottery operator – Totalizator Sportowy.
This cooperation was already announced in March 2018 due to the company’s long-term agreement with the association, which paved the way for providing the underlying platform with casino products and services.

The Totalizator Sportowy agreement with Playtech follows a series of similar supply contracts with other reputable World Lottery Association such as OPAP, Santa Casa, Sisal, Veikkhaus, Danske Spil and Norsk Tipping.
The state-governed company and owner of the LOTTO brand, has run the country’s services for more than six decades, reaching a network of 17,000 retail shops across the whole territory. Lottery sales in Poland are also managed in partnership with International Gaming Technology (IGT).
Earlier in December, the gambling software development company with headquarters in the Isle of Man, has formed new alliances with operators from central European countries Croatia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and southeastern Romania.
By extending collaboration with Fortuna Entertainment Group, possibly one of the greatest betting brands in this part of Europe, the supplier has launched full integration of its IMS player management system – responsible for sustained growth in all verticals…
In June 2018, Playtech acquired the remaining 19% stake of Snaitech in Italy as well, and set a stronger foothold in the country; the purchase included a transaction of £741 million, which is partially the same as the company’s betting revenues from 2017.
In the meantime, the Estonian-founded provider struck a supply deal with IWG, opening its portfolio of over 100 titles and adding it to the Playtech Bingo Network… Rhydian Fisher, CEO at the London-based company said on that occasion:
