As part of their US expansion strategy, leading sports betting operator in New Jersey, FanDuel…
…signed a multi-state and multi-platform deal with Fresh8 about delivering automated marketing technology.
The two companies will work together on various marketing projects across various platforms in the US, focusing before anything on FanDuel’s main market in New Jersey.
According to the agreement…
…Fresh8’s technology will help FanDuel save time and costs of production and distribution of their sports betting content.
The software developers will establish machine-optimized marketing assets based on FanDuel’s wagering and CRM data, while the main aim is to build real-time image and video-based advertising on its programmatic channels.
By implementing Fresh8’s technology, the US operator will be able to offer the wagers real-time betting opportunities.
Based in New York City, FanDuel is a fantasy sports provider and bookmaker that owns the second largest DFS service in the country, behind DraftKings.
Owned by Irish bookmaker, Paddy Power Betfair since May 2018…
…it became the company’s main brand in the US after the legislation of sports betting in this country.
Looking for more innovative solutions to improve their advertising structure, FanDuel signed a lucrative deal with Fresh8 that would bring many benefits to both sides.
“The Fresh8 self-build technology enables us to massively scale our advertising effectiveness. The real-time nature of sports betting means manually built campaigns are no longer viable,” said head of online marketing, Aaron Dugan.
“Fresh8 helps us distribute our proposition in real time and at massive distribution scale. As soon as a bet is available in our platform, Fresh8 ensures it is also front and center in every display, , and social advert we have,” Dugan added.
The company is one of the operators with highest-ranked brands in many US states. In December, FanDuel generated $9.1 million in revenue in New Jersey…
…while in Pennsylvania they ended up second with $1.32 million, right after DraftKings with $1.35 million.
Fresh8 is a UK-based technology company that created the award-winning marketing automation platform for the sports betting industry to instantly connect sports fans with personalized bets. Their CEO, Andrew Sharland, feels super enthusiastic about their deal with such a big name as FanDuel.
“We are excited to be working FanDuel, the early market leader in the USA who already have a fantastic brand recognized across the country. We are delighted FanDuel chose us to help them achieve advertising scale across channels as they expand state-by-state across the USA including helping them activate their tier 1 media company relationships,” Sharland commented.
