IGT Signs Expanded Lottery Deal with Slovakia’s TIPOS

UK-based multinational gaming company, IGT, revealed that they made a new deal with Slovakian lottery TIPOS, which is owned by the state government.

This is a 10-year expanded technology and services agreement that can be additionally extended by up to five years.

Details on the Deal

According to the deal, IGT will provide the Slovakian lottery with a range of new lottery solutions and services. It is interesting that the two companies have been working together for over 25 years.

As stated in the agreement, IGT will provide TIPOS with a new central system, new retailer’s terminals…

…as well as with associated software and peripherals.

Also, the two companies agreed that IGT will provide the lottery also with non-lottery software and services like prepaid mobile phone top-ups and event ticketing for sports and cultural events.

Continuing the Partnership

IGT will continue providing TIPOS as usual with services like the central system and terminal installation and maintenance, warehousing, retailer training…

…as well as hotline/data center management and operation, communications system, field services, and consumables distribution.

Also, it will additionally provide TIPOS with a complete range of marketing consultancy services, which includes a game portfolio development, marketing programs, data analytics, market research as well as retailer network development programs.
