Aspire Global Agrees $14.9 Million Acquisition of Business-to-Business Supplier Pariplay

Provider of online gambling solutions, Aspire Global, has announced the successful conclusion of negotiations with Pariplay’s parent company, GMS Entertainment, regarding the purchase of their assets for $14.9 million.

The deal is expected by both parties to be concluded sometime in the third quarter of the year. Aspire has said that this acquisition is not going to have any effect on their 2019 EBITDA performance, but will impact the 2020 results.

Growth Within Reach

The acquisition of GMS Entertainment – and, subsequently, Pariplay – will help Aspire bolster its B2B segment…

…by broadening gaming portfolio and providing a channel for distribution and selling propriety games. The synergy, quite in accordance with their M&A strategy, will work by stepping outside of their usual network of clients.

Pariplay is a worthy asset, because this B2B software supplier has its own content aggregation platform, creates its own casino games in their own studios and their operations have been greenlighted in New Jersey – meaning that US operators also have access to their content. This massive growth opportunity did not go unnoticed with Aspire.

Malta, Romania and Curacao are jurisdictions whose licenses Pariplay already holds. Their games are certified in most of Europe’s regulated markets.

A Crucial Part of iGaming Chain

Tsachi Maimon, Aspire’s CEO, shared a few of his sentiments in regards to this business venture:

“We are very excited about the acquisition of Pariplay which is in line with our M&A strategy focusing on B2B-growth and external game sales. The integration of Pariplay grants us control of yet another crucial part of the igaming value chain – cutting costs, broadening the game portfolio and providing a channel to sell propriety games outside Aspire Global network.”

Pariplay’s own Chief Executive and founder, Gili Lisani, echoed these sentiments:

“Pariplay has come a long way since the founding in 2011 and I am very proud of the whole team for their intense efforts and strong commitment over the years. I feel confident about sending the company off for the next phase of the growth-journey and I believe that the match with Aspire Global is great, allowing both operations to reach whole new levels.”

Aspire has reported an increase in year’s first quarter’s revenue last month…

…which amounted to €33.2 million, way more than last year’s €18.4 million during the same period.

Different Swedish Experiences

Both brands had mutually exclusive experiences during the past few months in the regulated market of Sweden…

…where Aspire was fined for Svenska Spel.

Back in April, they launched one of their most anticipated games of this year. Dragons of the North is a 50-payline affair with multitude of features such as Golden Dragon Egg and four different jackpots with multipliers that go up to 1000x!
