Developer of mobile-friendly online casino games and solutions, Betsoft Gaming, has helped local charities Puttinu Cares and ALS Malta by co-sponsoring the annual IFR Champions Cup, whose goal is to raise the awareness on cancer and motor neuron disease as well as to collect funds for their treatment.
This year’s tournament has raised a record €13,000 by gathering teams from leading Malta-based companies including several industry branches such as iGaming, fintech and real estate. The second IFR tournament was organized by several friends, fighting for good causes on the island. Their goal is to host a series of similar events and donate all income to local charities.
To promote care for families with children suffering from cancer, the founders Nikola Vasovic, Andrew Micallef Trigona, Nora Schembri and Yiannis Paraskevas chose The Puttinu Cares Cancer Group, a charity established in 2002. ALS Malta was founded in 2015 with the aim of improving patients’ quality of life and researching for a cure.
A total of thirty-six teams took part in the closely contested IFR 2019 Tour including reputable iGaming brands like Mr Green and The Stars Group. Despite the huge competition, third place went to Mediterranean Insurance Brokers who outplayed Levski Sofra in a play-off match, while Stronghold Construction Ltd, a fast-developing realtor, triumphed over Gourmet Bar & Grill, local business with 2-0 in the finals.
Apart from winning the prestigious IFR Champions Trophy, the first-ranked company earned entry into next year’s Moscow Continental Football League – the world’s largest eight-a-side mini-football championship.
“It was a very entertaining weekend, with a great standard of football, and plenty of fun and entertainment in aid of Puttinu Cares and ALS Malta.
We’ve raised a fantastic sum of money for both charities and I’d like to thank our sponsors including Betsoft who played an important role in contributing to this event that we hope to repeat year after year,” co-founder of the IFR Tournament, Nikola Vasovic, commented.
Annamaria Anastasi, marketing director at Betsoft Gaming said that her entire team is thrilled to have played their part in ing a fantastic local event. Anastasi hopes that the tourney will continue to raise valuable funds for charities in the coming years.
Meanwhile, the provider released several unique localized and innovative slots, while taking a stride into two European jurisdictions. At the beginning of September, Betsoft has signed a multi-year content partnership with Golden Palace, Belgium’s biggest casino.
This land-based gambling establishment was founded in 1963 and it went online in 2011. During the same month, industry-leading content vendor entered into another arrangement with Spanish-based Wanabet casino.
The last three titles Gemmed!, Bamboo Rush and Wolf Moon Rising represent the aggregator’s cinematic smash hits, offering engaging gameplay and highly immersive stories. BetSoft is convinced in great success of its newly launched products due to their captivating themes and massive win potentials, added Anastasi.
