One of the leading players in the iGaming industry, Bragg Gaming Group, has taken a significant stride in its global expansion strategy by securing a coveted business-to-business remote gambling license in Gibraltar.
This development positions Bragg to tap into the thriving European iGaming market, further cementing its position as a content-driven iGaming B2B provider.
Known for its status as a European iGaming hub and a base of operations for multinational Tier 1 online casino, sportsbook, bingo, and lottery companies, Gibraltar is a prime strategic location for Bragg’s latest venture.
Many industry giants, such as Entain, 888, William Hill, bet365, and Lottoland consider this British overseas territory home, providing Bragg with access to a multitude of locally licensed operators.
This milestone adds to Bragg’s impressive list of licenses, including those held in the UK, Malta, Romania, Sweden, Belgium, Greece, and various states in the U.S., as well as the province of Ontario in Canada, among other jurisdictions.
For Bragg Gaming Group, obtaining the Gibraltar license aligns with its mission to expand its presence in regulated global markets and extend the reach of its burgeoning product portfolio.
Recent financial data reflects the company’s upward trajectory, with revenue surging by 18.9% to EUR 24.7 million for the second quarter of 2023 compared to the same period the previous year.
According to Lara Falzon, president and chief operating officer at Bragg Gaming Group, “Gibraltar is an important jurisdiction that is home to both UK and international-facing companies,” stating that its license will enable us the company to further expand in key regulated markets.
Bragg is looking forward to collaborating with new partners and introducing its content on many online casino platforms operating from this territory, concluded Falzon.
As Bragg Gaming Group continues to strengthen its foothold in the iGaming industry, the acquisition of the Gibraltar B2B remote gambling license marks another significant achievement on its path to becoming a dominant force in the global gaming market.
Additionally, Bragg has successfully expanded its footprint to Switzerland, going live with Grand Casino Basel, and established a strong presence in Belgium through its partnership with Napoleon Sports and Casino.
Meanwhile, Kunal Mishra, COO Americas, and Doug Fallon, group director of content, will be representing the company at the EGR US Power Summit in California on September 14-15, 2023.
In recent months, Bragg has already inked strategic partnerships with Rush Street Interactive in Pennsylvania and Caesars Sportsbook in New Jersey, solidifying its presence in the US sports betting market.
Organized by EGR, a leading information hub in the iGaming industry, this exclusive event gathers influential North American operators to share experiences, network, and establish new connections.
