Caesars Entertainment's Experimental The Linq Hotel and Casino Experience Details Latest Upgrades

A few months back, Caesars Entertainment announced that a certain enhancement of their Las Vegas operations was in progress. Dubbed The Linq Hotel and Experience and Re:Match, the unique project has entered its next phase and new details and upgrades are already available.

The transformation of the Linq Hotel and Casino and Re:Match combines the next-generation high-tech casino games, hologram gaming, virtual reality, eSports and live entertainment to cater for the millennial public. In October last year, the property saw the opening of its racebook and sportsbook, as well.

Going Ahead as Planned

Alongside aforementioned enhancements to fit the new generation of customers…

…the new offering will contain a new integrated and immersive strip-side bar with 27 touch screens that will “create a cohesive bar top underwater world with sporadic interactive and responsive games.”

Ceasars’ Entertainment CEO and president, Tony Rodio, the company’s EVP of gaming and interactive entertainment and Ryan Hammer, Linq Hotel and Experience general manager, all attended the opening of the new space and cut the LED ribbon after a parade of hoverboard girls, electric drummers and go bots.

Rodio stated during the opening ceremony:

“Caesars Entertainment has been at the forefront of gaming and innovation for many years. What you see here at The Linq is a diversified selection of experiences curated for a variety of visitors and offers adults new ways to play. I could not be more proud of the hours that went into this project, with gaming, IT, operations and marketing all collaborating to make The Linq the epicenter of socially driven experiences.”

“Traditional Gaming With a Twist”

Some of the innovative technological solutions that will soon take their place in this Vegas hub…

…are also varied blackjack jackpot celebrations incorporated.

Another “first of its kind” on the Strip is the so-called hologram gaming – a novelty to be installed in the centre of the casino with tic tac toe, rock, paper, scissors and pop ’em. “This will be a new gaming experience that challenges you to test your luck against a hologram,” the company states.

Some other installations include six VR bays, digital art installations, eSports gaming destination, multi-stage entertainment and arcade games.

ESPN Partnership

Caesars teamed up with ESPN in May with the idea of bringing together sports wagering and entertainment. The alliance between the two companies was signed and under its …

…Caesars will supply the official odds data across TV and digital to ESPN. Also planned is the opening of a new ESPN-branded studio at Linq Hotel and Casino. This project is slated to go live in 2020 and will serve as a hub for odds-related content and will contribute to various ESPN linear, digital and social shows.
