Grand Opening of Churchill Downs BetAmerica Sportsbook Celebrated At Presque Isle Downs & Casino

Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI) is celebrating the grand opening of its BetAmerica Sportsbook, coinciding with the start of this year’s NFL preseason.

The new sportsbook expands the company’s ever-growing national reach into sports betting.

The celebration of the grand opening of its BetAmerica Sportsbook took place at the Presque Isle Downs & Casino which will get the addition of 50 state-of-the-art sports wagering kiosks.

Acquisition of the venue in January established the iconic brand’s footprint in Pennsylvania, straightening its position in the ever-growing sports betting arena.

“The legalization of sports wagering across the country presents a great opportunity for Churchill Downs to deliver more entertainment options to our customers. We are excited to bring our industry-leading BetAmerica Sportsbook to the Pennsylvania market,” said Bill Carstanjen, CEO of CDI.

Churchill is one of the largest and oldest brands in the gambling industry. It hosts the famous Kentucky Derby race and conducts its operation all over the States, in all betting activities. The company is tightening its influence in the sports betting, with its latest sportsbook expansion to Arkansas and Pennsylvania.

Newly Renovated Sportsbook Area

Twenty-five of the 50 new wagering kiosks are in the sportsbook area of Presque Isle, which has gone under complete renovation. In addition to kiosks, sports betting fans have the Hub center bar, Bar 90, and the High-Limit Room at their disposal. This layout allows bettors to easily lines and odds throughout the venue.
