Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain is set to be open somewhere during the Fall of 2019. Executives from Hard Rock International company are hoping that this brand-new hotel and casino resort will become the premier entertainment destination in Northern California.
So now, it is the perfect time to announce who will be top executives of the new Hard Rock hotel.
The plan is to gather up the perfect team of employees in this new venue continues. Over 2,000 construction jobs are expected prior to its grand opening…
…while almost 750 people are working on its construction every single day.
After opening the new Hard Rock hotel, the plan is to employ over 1,000 full and part-time team .
“We are excited to have a great mix of ionate industry leaders ing our Hard Rock Sacramento family,” said Mark Birtha, president of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain.
“Some are new to the brand and some are seasoned veterans, but most important is that we have an enthusiastic executive team with over 150 years of collective experience working together to develop and operate what will become a top gaming, entertainment and hospitality venue that provides ‘authentic experiences that rock’ in Northern California,” he added.
The first to become part of the new team is Christopher Balaban, who has been appointed the new vice president of finance. He has 20 years of gaming experience and has shown great business results in the past.
Balaban has an MBA from Florida Atlantic University and a BS from the University of South Florida. Before ing the Hard Rock team…
…he worked at Affinity Gaming and Penn National Gaming in both Las Vegas and midwest markets.
The new vice president of human resources will be Ryan Flieger. He worked for the Hard Rock brand for the past seven years, since 2012 to be more precise. Flieger showed his extraordinary skills while working at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas
Before ing the Hard Rock team, he spent almost ten years as a part of MGM Resorts where he was in charge of the company’s award-winning diversity training initiative and MGM University as well.
Anika Gaskins will be ing the team as the new vice president of marketing for the new property. Gaskins has over 17 years of experience in the industry which shows that the team of the new venue will consist of only top-notch executives.
Prior to this, she worked as the vice president of national marketing at MGM Resorts Springfield casino property…
…where she was responsible for all loyalty and casino marketing initiatives.
She also worked for Penn National Gaming, Caesars Entertainment on the Las Vegas Strip and Caesars Windsor in Canada.
The new vice president of table games will be Paul Mollo who has been working for Hard Rock International since 2008. In the past, Mollo has worked with several gaming companies, including Harrah’s, Trump Plaza and Borgata in the Atlantic City market.
Matthew Morgan is the new vice president of IT. He has more than 20 years of experience in the gaming industry because he worked in the Northern California, Las Vegas and Midwest markets.
Will Provance is appointed the vice president of slot operations, which comes as no surprise since he has spent over 20 years in the hospitality industry.
And last but not least, Kaywan Samadani will be ing the team as the new vice president of hospitality.

Anika Gaskins, direct, honest, comionate and very talented person i know. While she was at Maryland Mgm Corporate office, i had the honor and privilege to know her, short period of time but all worth it .
