IGT and Global Payments to Enable Cashless Wagering Digital Access

International Game Technology (IGT) has announced that their subsidiary, IGT Global Solutions Corporation, has expanded its agreement with Global Payments Gaming Solutions supplier to enable guaranteed Automated Clearing House bank fund transfers.

The said transfer will be undertaken via seamless integration with IGT’s proprietary IGTPay gateway system for payments.

An Easy System

When the player signs up with Global Payments’ VIP Preferred service via IGTPay…

…they will be able to transfer funds digitally between their bank and Cashless Wagering (CWA).

This only takes a single step and they won’t have to enter their information for every separate transaction.

Explains Christopher Justice, Global Payments Gaming Solutions president:

More than 3.5 million patrons rely on Global Payments’ VIP Preferred for simple, secure, and responsible play.”

Prone to Embrace

IGT’s vice president, VLT, Systems and Payments Products, Ryan Reddy, adds that players are usually more likely to adopt cashless tech, if the experience and usage is simple enough, and is convenient.

It also needs to offer a wide range of funding sources as well as secure and direct access to their bank s.

“As cashless adoption continues to grow in the gaming industry, we’re proud to offer Global Payments’ trusted and proven service to our customers and their patrons as an integrated feature of our proprietary IGTPay funding gateway.”

Global Payments processes circa $5 billion in transactions annually. Using their services, players can also access credit cards, debit cards and eWallet s to fund CWA.

They began their partnership with IGT in 2016 as a digital funding transfer partner for their iLottery product offering.

They expanded this partnership in 2018 through their IGTPay online payment gateway integration.

IGT’s Resort Wallet solution offers two flexible variations of IGT’s cashless offering for land-based casinos: cardless and carded.
