IGT surged ahead of Evolution to claim the top spot in June’s Eilers-Fantini report, which assesses the performance of iGaming suppliers in the US. This marks the first instance in 2024 where IGT has outperformed Evolution, despite both suppliers consistently leading the charts and featuring several top titles in the ‘top games by GGR’ category.
In addition to their US success, IGT secured the number one position in Canada, according to the Eilers-Fantini Canada report, which details slot performance across Ontario and other provinces for the month.
IGT’s dominance Evolution’s Live Dealer Roulette held steady in fifth place but trailed behind IGT’s Blackjack Surrender, which climbed from seventh in May to fourth in June.
The top 10 games by GGR also included IGT’s Cleopatra, Games Global’s Rising Rewards, 88 Fortunes by Light & Wonder, Reel Play’s Hypernova Megaways, and Evolution’s Live Dealer Blackjack, which fell six spots after ranking fourth the previous month. Among the top 25 games, slots dominated with 14 titles, followed by five table games, five live casino titles, and one video poker game.
The overall top games list saw IGT’s Cash Eruption and Blackjack retaining their first and second places, while Internal’s Craps rose from fourth to third, and AGS’s Capital Gains climbed from fifth to fourth. High 5 Games’ Secrets of the Forest achieved an impressive leap from 1,095th place in May to fifth in June.
In Canada, IGT’s Cash Eruption continued to lead the top games by GGR charts, securing first place with a 1.95% share of the total theoretical win. Cleopatra, another IGT slot, claimed second place, while Inspired’s Big Piggy Bank dropped from second to third. Pragmatic Play’s Sweet Bonanza and IGT’s Blackjack rounded out the top five.
The Canadian market also witnessed IGT leading the supplier charts with a 19.3% share of the theoretical win, an increase from May’s 17.09%.
Evolution secured second place with 14.2%, slightly down from 14.87% in May.
Pragmatic Play recovered to third place with 12.09%, and Light & Wonder fell to fourth with 10.64%.
In the slot-specific charts, IGT’s Cash Eruption held first place, followed by AGS’s Capital Gains in second. High 5 Games Secrets of the Forest made a significant jump to third, rising from 973rd place the previous month. 88 Fortunes from Light & Wonder maintained its fourth position, while Games Global’s Rising Rewards climbed from ninth to fifth.
The top 25 slots featured 13 different suppliers, including Greentube, Anaxi, Reel Play, Gamecode, Everi, Evolution, Bragg Gaming Group, and White Hat Studios. New game rankings saw Gamecode’s Boom Boom Boom slot securing first place for the second consecutive month, followed by Games Global’s Dark Waters Power Combo in second. The top five also included Cashpile from Gamecode, Coin Combo Explosion Jackpot Festival from Light & Wonder, and Anaxi’s Buffalo Gold Collection.
IGT’s overall success in June’s Eilers-Fantini report was underscored by an 18.3% share of GGR in the US, up from 17.3% in May. Evolution followed with 17.9%, unchanged from May, while Light & Wonder remained third with 13.9%. Games Global’s GGR share declined to 8.4%, down from 9.2%.
Slots continued to dominate the US market, ing for 91.7% of the total games tracked, with table games at 3.6%, instant win games at 1.7%, live casino at 1.4%, video poker at 0.9%, and a combined 0.3% for bingo/keno and lottery segments. Mobile platforms generated the highest percentage of theoretical win at 70.4%, followed by desktop at 28.1% and tablet at 1.6%.
The latest US Eilers-Fantini report analyzed data from Michigan, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Connecticut across 30 online casino sites, tracking 59,500 games, representing approximately 64% of the US market. In Canada, the report covered nine online casino sites, tracking 16,178 games across five provinces.
