In a substantial expansion of its ongoing collaboration, Light & Wonder (L&W) has teamed up with the Oregon Lottery to roll out over 1,200 additional Kascada Dual Screen Multi-Games video lottery terminals (VLTs). This move comes less than a year after the successful trial of the initial 1,175 VLTs. The new wave of machines is set to offer an enhanced gaming experience to lottery players in Oregon, showcasing a wide array of popular games.
The newly acquired VLTs will house a variety of engaging games designed to cater to diverse player preferences. Among the games featured are Blazing Hot Celebrations, Lightning Tusks, American Original, Bier Haus, American Original Stars & Bars, Quick Hit Money Wheel, Treasure Fruits, and Flush Frenzy Poker. This eclectic mix aims to attract both seasoned players and newcomers, ensuring there is something for everyone.
This latest development follows L&W’s strategic partnership with B2B supplier Jelly Entertainment earlier in the year. The collaboration with Jelly Entertainment made Jelly’s games accessible on L&W’s distribution platforms in the UK, Spain, and Italy. By expanding its game portfolio and enhancing its distribution reach, L&W aims to bolster its presence in key markets and offer a richer variety of gaming content.
The Oregon Lottery has been proactive in enhancing its gaming offerings through innovative collaborations. At the beginning of 2024, the lottery operator launched a unique Taylor Swift-themed Super Bowl sports betting special in partnership with DraftKings. This special aimed to draw in new players and create excitement around the lottery’s sports betting platform, demonstrating the lottery’s adherence to engaging and entertaining its audience.
The addition of over 1,200 new VLTs to the Oregon Lottery’s portfolio is expected to significantly enhance the gaming experience for players. The Kascada Dual Screen Multi-Games terminals are designed to provide an immersive and engaging gaming environment, with high-quality graphics and a wide selection of games. This expansion not only caters to the current demand but also aims to attract new players, broadening the lottery’s player base.
As L&W and the Oregon Lottery continue to collaborate, both organizations are focused on providing high-quality gaming experiences.
L&W’s Americas Managing Director, Niaz Nejad said: “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the Oregon Lottery and to provide their players with our state-of-the-art Kascada Dual Screen Multi-Games … The additional placement of over 1,200 VLTs is a testament to the success and popularity of our games in the region.”
Sar Richards, Oregon Lottery’s Manager of Video Gaming Products, stated: “We’re excited to continue our partnership in bringing Light & Wonder’s popular games and product expertise to our video lottery players … They consistently use our to deliver quality products that benefit our team and customers.”
