MGM Resorts and Roar Digital Announce Historic Alignment with Yahoo Sports

The t venture between global gaming industry leaders MGM Resorts and GVC Holdings, Roar Digital and MGM Resorts inked a landmark deal with Yahoo Sports to power its sports betting platform. As part of this agreement, MGM and Yahoo will cooperate on a wide range of content experiences, exclusive live events, and a huge number of high-profile major sporting and promotional marketing efforts.

In addition to this, MGM will also distribute Yahoo Sports content across the extensive network of its properties and platforms. Yahoo will also be hosting versatile player events at the company’s properties.

With more than 68 percent increase in U.S. Mobile App visitors year-over-year, it is shaping the future of sports for fans.

Driving the Deepest Value

The coalition builds upon Verizon Media’s core strategy to connect content and discovery to transactions and represents a logical extension of Yahoo Sports’ mission to reinvent sports and enhance the experience for fans.

Establishing Unique Position

As part of the multi-year collaboration…

… the Yahoo Sports app will be rolled out in November in the U.S., with transactions to take place on the BetMGM platform. It will become an official Digital Media Sports Partner of MGM Resorts.
