Several regulations will be revised by Nevada Gaming Control Board on April 19th, as the Commission schedules a meeting regarding proposed amendments for players under the influence of drugs and alcohol, as well as payout discrepancies. An update on suspicious transaction policies will also be taken into consideration, along with renewed proposals on the horse racing istration.
Disciplinary actions against patrons under the influence of opiates and alcohol beverage will also be introduced, as a countermeasure to offering more drinks to customers, which might obstruct their judgements or have a negative outcome on the game. The update is also directed towards consumers of recreational cannabis within the state’s borders, and it should provide better protection from potential losses in case of higher levels of intoxication.
One of the few things that also require revision is the term “payout” as well as brand new introductions of requirements to wagers and withdrawals over $10,000 USD. In addition, players will be obliged to provide further information to the licensee before obtaining their winnings, due to an increase in frauds and suspicious wager reports.
Last but not least, the Gaming Control Board of Nevada is also interested in a new set of rules concerning horse racing and the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Other amendments include coupling of race entries and a new definition of the term “day”. The Commission is keen on creating better transparency for gamblers and healthier conditions for the well-being of horses. According to the official site, recommended changes will likely come into effect after the meeting on April 19th, as no objections nor criticism from the Board has been received.
