Aristocrat Interactive Games Now Live on Hard Rock Bet in New Jersey

The state of New Jersey’s online gambling market has achieved the year-on-year growth for the month of April – the second highest revenue month. New Jersey’s Division of Game Enforcement published this past Monday that the state’s licensed operators amassed a total gaming win of $23 million, which is 10.6% more than in April 2017 ($20.8m).
This was somewhat less than in March – a historically strongest month of the year for the gambling industry – reaching $25.8 million in revenue. The total gambling revenue in New Jersey (online + land based casinos) was $214.4 million, which is an increase of 1.3% since last year. Currently, the year-on-year online revenue increase stands at 15.5% with total gambling revenue in the state being $96.2 million so far in 2018. The industry casino win for the year-to-year totaled $716.7 million for 2018 compared to $763.5 million for 2017 – a decrease of 6.1%.
The online poker segment is continuing to plummet – it fell by 10.5% to $1.76 million, making this April the second worst month in history. Total gaming taxes for the month of April 2018 were $17.6 million.
