Northern Lights Adopts Yggdrasil's Revolutionary GATI Tech

A relatively young development studio and Yggdrasil YG Masters partner Northern Lights, has decided to implement the trailblazing GATI standardization technology and realize its long-term global business plans.

As part of the Yggdrasil’s state-of-the-art inventory, this high tech is used as a go-to market interface that enables a more rapid and secure expansion to deploy content.

The Swedish supplier has built a global distribution network for its partners that integrate GATI, allowing them to cross-sell games to any global franchise. Thanks to this progressive business model, retailers will have an opportunity to quickly scale istration and step up revenue increase, while at the same time establish an entirely redesigned method of production and collaboration.

How GATI Works

The Game Adoption Tools & Interface or GATI for short is the main engine behind Yggdrasil’s YG Masters Program. It works as part of the Yggdrasil Decentralized Aggregation Network (DAN) and increases scalability as well as efficiency of product software development. Every franchisee is therefore able to collaborate using GATI and share its comprehensive game roaps.

Back in March, the studio migrated its development, staging and production onto the secure Google Cloud Platform, allowing YG Masters participants (Avatar UX, Northern Lights, Fantasma Games, Dreamtech Gaming and 4ThePlayer and other) to use the preconfigured, regulation-ready, standardized content development toolkit.

By applying this technology, software developers will be able to speed up the production process and intensify promotional activities of proprietary content and existing games. The integration allows studios to set up private and secure game servers by utilizing any technology and distribute multiple products at once.

As the company’s most valuable asset along with BRAG and BOOST, GATI is also frequently updated with new features such as RTP tests, analytics, and so on.

A Game-Changer

Head of partner strategy and sourcing at Yggdrasil, Stuart McCarthy, said that GATI is a complete game changer for the company’s new partners like Flow Gaming, giving them full control over rapid development. By integrating the supplier’s latest tech, Northern Lights and other potential associates will initiate a fully scalable deployment of their products, making them instantly available and compliant for further distribution.

“Studios can build content in any language they want with the knowledge that their math and mechanics IP is completely protected, while also benefiting from our full suite of BOOST™ marketing tools and our Partner Connect system that manages local market compliance and operator specific integration requirements,” added McCarty.

After striking several strategic deals with Relax Gaming and other leading brands in the industry, such as Velo Partners, Northern Lights is ready to take the next step of improving player experience in the online gaming industry. Andrew Goodale, CEO of the 2017 established software development firm also commented the arrangement with Yggdrasil:

“We are very excited about developing our games on the GATI platform and taking our business to another level using this strategic and innovative technology and unique collaborative business model. This gives us complete control of the entire development process and how we design games without having to make any compromises, plus it will enable us to achieve our business strategy quicker and at scale, across global markets.”

The Cherry AB subsidiary has expanded its network of strategic partnerships with Azure Tech on April 29th.
