Greentube Seals Distribution Deal with PokerStars to Launch Portfolio Further in Europe

The international gaming company from Austria, Novomatic Group, has made another landmark success at this year’s ICE Totally Gaming in London, where it managed to score an award “Casino Supplier of the Year” for the third time in a row.
As the report reads, Austria’s largest provider of high-tech gaming technologies has been officially honored at the ceremony for the Global Gaming Award, a part of the conference dedicated to land-based, sports betting operators and digital gaming communities. Novomatic has managed to defend its title against nine high-profile international competitors, including Aristocrat, Casino Technology, E-Gaming SRO, IGT, Interblock Gaming, Merkur Gaming, R Franco, Scientific Games and Zitro Games.
“To us, being named ‘Casino Supplier of the Year’ for the third year in a row is a very special confirmation of our achievements as a reliable and innovative international technology provider. We could not have hoped for a better start to our 40th anniversary year,” commented Novomatic chief executive officer, Harald Neumann.
The Global Gaming Awards is considered as one of the most reputable ceremonies in the iGaming industry, awarding companies in a total of 16 categories for their product and service innovations. The jury consists of the world’s leading industry experts, while the winners get selected from 175 nominees. Every vote is awarded independently, and it is also audited by KMPG, one of the big four professional firms providing audit, tax and advisory services.
Among the categories are also listed Betting Shop Operator of the Year (Paddy Power), Online Casino of the Year (LeoVegas), Online Bingo Operator of the Year (JackpotJoy), Retail Supplier (Scientific Games), Online Casino Supplier (Evolution Gaming), Online Poker Operator (PokerStars) and more.
The Novomatic Group prides itself on being one of the biggest international producers and operators of gaming technologies with around 30,000 employees all around the world. It was founded by an entrepreneur Professor Johann F. Graff in 1980 and the concern has reported a turnover of approximately EUR 5.0 billion in 2018. Novomatic has also revealed that the company’s focus remains on sports betting in the anniversary year. When it comes to biometric data, the industry will keep taking advantage of this technology, whose pioneering and revolutionary enhancements were developed exactly by this group.
