Parimatch Appoints Dmitry Sergeev as CIS Division CEO

Parimatch Holding, the global technology company and one of the leaders in global betting has announced that Dmitry Sergeev has been appointed as the new CEO of its recently formed CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) division. The appointment of Sergeev is part of the company’s plans for further expansion in its main markets.

Sergeev will be responsible for leading the company’s CIS business with the of a team of professionals. He will be working on consolidating the brand’s position as a market leader in the CIS region and delivering its corporate strategy, while looking for ways to deepen and broaden its technology offering and expertise.

Maximizing Interaction

Parimatch, which ed ESIC in February, has recently updated its corporate structure, with the main focus being maximizing interaction between all company divisions across the Asian and Eastern European markets. Thanks to the close collaboration business model, the company network will be able to closely align through the sharing of best practice and successful initiatives across research and development, communications, digital, product development and other verticals.

Dmitry Sergeev started out in Parimatch as the company’s CEO in Russia. The company quadrupled its growth under his management, and it was able to carry out a number of outstanding brand activations. Dmitry has over 15 years of experience in marketing, business development and commerce. In 2005, he founded the sports portal “Championship” which became one of the largest sports outlets in Russia and CIS.

In the period between 2016 and 2019, Sergeev held the position of CEO of bwin in Russia where he was responsible for establishing the company as the first international player in Russia.
