Penn National to Introduce New Hollywood Casino Morgantown December 22nd

Penn National, a company known for its table games, has announced the grand opening of its new Hollywood Casino Morgantown.

The grand opening is expected on Wednesday, December 22^nd, after obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals. Hollywood Casino Morgantown will be located at the intersection of three very famous streets – Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76), I-176, and the Morgantown Expressway (Rt. 10).

This casino is the fourth Penn National facility in Pennsylvania including the Hollywood Casino at the Penn National Race Course (Grantville), the Hollywood Casino at the Meadows (Washington), and the Hollywood Casino York.

Marc Guastella, Vice President and General Manager for Hollywood Casino Morgantown said: “The countdown to our grand opening begins today. We’re very excited to soon welcome patrons to this beautiful new property, where they’ll be able to experience premier gaming, dining and entertainment.”

What Can You Expect?

This facility will have an area of about 80,000 square-foot and will contain:

• 750 slot machines
• 30 table games
• Barstool Sportsbook – the bookmaker will feature sports from around the world where s will be able to enjoy a jumbotron above the main sled or a large number of screens that will be distributed throughout the bookmaker.
• Three dining options – The first restaurant will have over 150 seats, and you will have the opportunity to try top quality dishes including sweet and savory offers as well as various types of drinks including a large selection of craft beers, cocktails and much more. In addition to all of the above, there will be a South Philly restaurant by Tony Luke in Morgantown, and customers will be able to enjoy cheesesteaks, roast pork Italian sandwiches and many other Tony dishes of excellent quality, as evidenced by the many won prizes. The third restaurant will be Red Lotus Asian Kitchen, which will offer delicious Asian noodles, including excellent Asian dishes.

However, Penn National decided to set aside two days before the grand opening for guests that received an invitations, and the proceeds from the games that day will be donated to charities.

About $111 million has been invested in this project, including licensing costs.
