Pennsylvania Gets DraftKings’ Online Casino App

Pennsylvania becomes only the second state, after the New Jersey deal last month, to receive access to DraftKings’ new standalone online casino mobile app.

The product in question allows s to make the most of a more holistic product suite and dynamic gaming experience that provides access to some of the most exclusive casino games and table staples such as Blackjack and Roulette.

The Road to App

DraftKings Casino was launched in Pennsylvania in May…

…thanks to the partnership with Penn National’s Hollywood Casino. The casino also has an embedded sportsbook app. Through it, DraftKings amassed a revenue of $29,416 from online gaming.

In June, New Jersey players also gained access to this standalone casino app, which happened approximately two years after casino games were incorporated into DraftKings’ sportsbook app.

This new standalone app features not only exclusive, in-house made content…

…but also games from IGT, Slingo and Scientific Games as well as live dealer games from DraftKings live studio, powered by Evolution Gaming.

FanDuel Following Suit

Also in June, FanDuel – sports betting and fantasy sports operator owned by Flutter Entertainment – launched their own standalone casino app, which was the first product of this kind launched by them.

The company said this was a “natural next step to provide a full-service gaming experience to our Pennsylvania customers.”

DraftKings’ Vice President of Gaming, Jason March, said: “Following our debut in the Garden State, we look forward to continued innovation, nationwide expansion where regulations allow, and to further positioning DraftKings as an all-inclusive gaming and entertainment experience.”

Michigan Sports Betting Deal

June saw DraftKings seal the sports betting deal in Michigan with Bay Mills Resort & Casino

…DraftKings’ Chief Business Officer, Ezra Kucharz, said about the expansion that through a commitment to provide customers with a premier sports betting experience, the operator is happy to form this partnership which presents a number of gaming opportunities.

Bryan Newland, tribal chairman for the Bay Mills Indian Community, added that they are excited about the new partnership with the fantasy sports provider and that they are expanding on what entertainment options they can offer at Michigan.
