PlayUp Gets Licensed For Sports Betting in New Jersey

Online Betting and Entertainment brand, PlayUp, which provides sports betting, daily fantasy sports and horse racing in Australia, New Zealand and India, will significantly increase its global footprint after having successfully concluded the licensing process in New Jersey.

This is the second market agreement of this kind for PlayUp after their recent Colorado license acquisition.

A Thriving Market

With a population of just under 9 million people and $361 million wagered on sports betting in 2020 – which is a 28% growth over 2019…

…New Jersey is a promising market for PlayUp who, to gain the license, sign a multi-year deal with FR Park Racing, LP which is the sports wagering certificate holder and operator of the Freehold Racetrack.

FRP is owned and operated by Pennwood Racing, whose 50/50 partners are Greenwood Racing Inc, Penn National Gaming and Parx Casino.
