Red Rake Unveils Irish-Themed Slot

Fans of all things Irish, who like to spin an occasional reel, have much to be happy about. Renowned developer, known for some of the most outrageously innovative games, Red Rake Gaming, has just presented their latest addition to the slot repertoire: Ryan O’Bryan and the Celtic Fairies. The title seems to possess all the mythological pizzaz and magic(k) contained in old fairy tales of the Emerald Isle. Players are immersed into an enchanted world, set against the backdrop of thick forest, where Irish leprechauns and fairies reign. The five-reel, thirty-payline slot is adorned with Celtic carvings and ornaments, and is packed with goodies and treats that will have you playing the proverbial fiddle in your head as you play. Though, there’s no need for an imagined soundtrack, as the game features one of its own, consisting of bonafide Irish music accompanying the spinning of the reels and full-blown extra modes, like free spins.

The graphics are colorfully stunning. The game’s mascot, a leprechaun (presumably Ryan O’Bryan from the title), stands on the right-hand side and animates beautifully and sometimes in a comical manner. For example, he sometimes bangs the reels with his fist once they accelerate when you’re about to hit something significant. The symbols on the reels are all taken from Irish folklore; they include a yellow, red, blue and green fairy, a pot of gold bonus symbol, a rainbow wild and a four leaf clover scatter. Some of the lower symbols include a smoking pipe, a pint of ale, golden coins as well as an Irish hat, and Bryan, himself.

Bonus missions and extras have not been omitted, and in fact are a wonderful additon to the integral part of the game. A double Wheel of Fortune may appear in a feature, called Fairy Roulette, prompting you to spin to reveal a free spin value and multiplier. The Fairy Dust Wilds feature will see a fifth fairy fly across the screen and scatter its magic dust across select reels, turning them into wilds to grant big wins. There is also a mini game that involves pots of gold yielding various prizes. Stuck reels, central reels filled with wilds and multiplier jumps, are just some of the additional features you may come across.
