Red Tiger Gaming Goes Live on Switzerland's iGaming Market With Grand Casino Baden

The launch of iGaming in Switzerland has become a reality this 1st of July, when the regulated online gambling market in this Central European country became a reality after a long and painstaking process. Several land-based venues have already made their sites available live.

One of them is Grand Casino Baden, whose online iteration, jackpots.ch, has seen a surge of interest by players. In order to meet the demand, the casino turned to top-notch content providers and one of them, Red Tiger Gaming, has most recently become their newest partner.

The First in Switzerland

Grand Casino Baden’s site is Switzerland’s first online casino…

…and it is powered on the Gamanza platform, having previously been a social casino, now turned real money gambling location after new regulations set afoot. It will gain numerous advantages from the initial release of 19 games from Red Tiger. Some of the titles to be included in its library are Mystery Reels, Dragon’s Fire and the ever popular, Pirate’s Plenty.

Grand Casino Baden’s online casino leader, Marcel Tobler, stated:

“Red Tiger’s games have really impressed us, and we are delighted to be the first operator in Switzerland to have access to them.

It’s an exciting time for everyone in the market and having internationally renowned and commercially proven games in our arsenal is a real boost at launch.”

A Word from Red Tiger

Comments Red’s commercial director, Chris Looney:

“We’re very pleased to launch with Grand Casino Baden and are excited about introducing not only new players but a new country to our titles. Red Tiger is always looking to enter regulated markets such as Switzerland, and we’re looking forward to building a strong partnership with Grand Casino Baden and their platform provider Gamanza.”

Founder and CEO of Gamanza, Magnus Lindberg, added that this, another proud moment for his company, is a commencement of a long and successful relationship with Red Tiger, one of the hottest game providers around.

He said that he has no doubt that this brand will enjoy success in Swiss market and “add a lot of value to our offering moving forward.” He also said Gamanza will help other operators take advantage of the opportunities in this country.

Switzerland’s Way Up

The country’s gambling regulator, Eidgenössische Spielbankenkommission, has reported a 3.4% revenue rise for land-based casinos in the last year. This increase was primarily driven by the slot segment…

…and this stems from eight A licensed casinos, which, in Switzerland, are large casinos in urban areas, and 13 B licensed ones (casinos is smaller communities).

Slots ed for 80.7% of total revenue, while table games also did well and saw their revenue rise 6.2% on annual level.

A Good Hunch

As a part of their commercial expansion throughout Europe…

…Red was quick to act on the new situation in Switzerland and were among the first companies to be awarded a supplier license there. Over the last 12 months, the company has entered regulated markets of Italy, Denmark and Sweden and have also acquired licenses by Malta and Alderney.

“We are looking forward to launching in Switzerland, and are excited about the opportunities that the country presents. Red Tiger is always looking to expand its reach in regulated markets.”, said the company’s commercial director on this historic entry.
