Scientific Games Continues Collaboration with Lotto Baden-Württemberg

American corporation from Las Vegas, Nevada that provides gambling products and services to lottery organizations across the globe, Scientific Games, has signed a five-year contract with Lotto Baden-Württemberg, a regional operator in ’s southwest state.

As part of the arrangement, Scientific Games will provide its brand-new gaming systems technology, SYMPHONY, and migrate the operator’s content during the course of the year. Lotto Baden-Württemberg is the first state-owned lottery operator to adopt the provider’s new digital business and games platform with a revolutionary architectural framework.

Among other components of the contract are also software and maintenance from SG’s technology facility in Vienna, Austria.

SYMPHONY to Drive Bigger Profits

According to Pat McHugh, chief executive at Scientific Group lottery division, the new partnership will allow Lotto Baden-Württemberg greater operational efficiency and revenues, including higher player engagement.

“We thank Lotto Baden-Württemberg for its continued trust in our systems technology leadership with our new SYMPHONY gaming system. We will continue to provide the best products that drive the most profits for our lottery customers, their retailers and players with technology that securely integrates all game entertainment product lines and offers operational efficiencies,” added McHugh.

Baden-Württemberg is the third largest state in , cooperating with more than 3,000 retailers. Despite its marginal decline in sales throughout 2019, totaling €977.9 million due to lower Eurojackpot prize pots, Lotto BW is expecting a significant rise in income in the year ahead.

Matthias Müller, vice president sales and marketing at Scientific Games International Lottery Systems commented about the extended agreement:

“SYMPHONY is a self-contained system that can be deployed more efficiently than other systems, which allows a faster implementation of market requirements. It is designed to easily integrate third party solutions through its open interface.”

SG Renews Contract with Pennsylvania Lottery

As one of the leading suppliers in the field of online gaming and lottery, Scientific Games has recently entered the Norwegian market, allowing it to provide responsible gaming content and management suite to Norsk Tipping.

Likewise, the company has struck another contract with Pennsylvania Lottery in December 2019, empowering it to supply the operator with iLottery products and mobile games.

The deal includes implementation, operation, maintenance and of iLottery solutions and services. Officials at the American corporation have thanked the state Lottery for trust in SG technology, games and expertise.

Drew Svitko, PA Lottery executive director, added that iLottery games from SG have proven a fun, new way to play, making it quite appealing to new customers. Moreover, the sales of these new digital products and instant games grew beyond all expectations during 2019.
