Scientific Games Launches Sportsbook at FireKeepers Casino in Michigan

Iconic iGaming software supplier, Scientific Games, has announced the imminent launch of sports betting services in FireKeepers Casino, owned and operated by Michigan’s Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi tribe.

The company is working with the venue on expanding the sports betting offering to include online sports betting and online casinos, once the regulations allows it in this state.

What the Deal Entails

At first…

…Scientific Games, which recently boosted its presence in , will deploy their retail sports book OpenSports product suite at FireKeepers. The Dacey’s Sportsbook, operating since June, will offer hundreds of sports including baseball, golf and international soccer.

This will be the first tribal launch of sports betting in Michigan and will build on the strong tribal partnerships that Scientific games boasts, soon after the launch of retail sports betting in New York with Oneida Indian Nation.

OpenGaming and OpenSports products will also be offered by Scientific Games, after thew new sports betting bill es in Michigan, and this will further expand FireKeeper’s digital sports betting and casino offering.

The venue opened in 2009 and became very quickly one of the largest tribal gaming operators in the entire US.

The Battle Creek-based casino has 2900 slot machines, 70 table games, many restaurants and lounges alongside new retail sportsbook.
