Twin River Holdings has recently acquired Golden Gates, Golden Gulch and Mardi Gras casinos in Black Hawk. The most recent partnership will allow Twin River to obtain additional sports gaming licenses in Colorado.

On this occasion, President and Chief Executive Officer of Twin River, George Papanier said:

“Obtaining the right to three sports gaming licenses in Colorado will expand our footprint in the state well beyond our Arapahoe Park racetrack and off-track betting network. These newly-formed partnerships with DraftKings and FanDuel allow us to provide unmatched sports betting experience to Colorado, not only with their mobile betting access but also with an exciting DraftKings retail sportsbook location inside one of our newly acquired casinos.”

DraftKings’ Deal

The sportsbook operator will extend its presence in the US. The provider’s mobile app is currently available in several states including West Virginia. Thanks to the Colorado extension, sports fans will have a unique opportunity to place wagers via retail betting system at Mardi Gras Casino in Black Hawk. At the moment, there are four American states where the fantasy sports provider holds a retail location, with Colorado becoming the fifth location.

The recent deal between Twin River and this company will allow Colorado to become the fifth state featuring the operator’s mobile platform. FanDuel Sportsbook offers multiple betting options including point spreads, moneylines, over/under, parlays, teasers, prop bets, round robins and live in-game wagers.
