We’ll have to wait and see, but just based on the former – yeah, it is quite likely that will happen. Fantasy sports group, DraftKings, has something to share that will best demonstrate the scale of sports betting market in New Jersey.

Two Million Bets and Counting

DraftKings announced that last Thursday they processed their two millionth sports wager, which is a milestone achieved in less than two months of sports bet operations!

Looking at their daily workload, during some of their busiest days, they were processing 100,000 wagers. That just gives you an idea of how lucrative and huge the sports betting market in NJ is.

Company’s CEO, Jason Robins, commented:

“The growth since NFL started is unbelievable. Overall, the product’s growing, but it’s really the NFL season starting that’s making it take off. There were some days when we were processing 100,000 bets in a day. Every number we thought and projected, we’re shattering. It’s just unbelievable how much demand and how much excitement there is over sports betting.”

The Prospects of Market

NJ has been at the center of attention of the iGaming and land-based gambling scene in the US. One of the quickest to react to repeal of PASPA, the state also has two new resorts firing on all cylinders.

In fact, Atlantic City’s period of June-July-August was the most successful and lucrative in recent memory which definitely cements the city’s Renaissance as the real thing happening before our very eyes.
