Unibet Launches First US Sportsbook in New Jersey With Atlantic City's Hard Rock Hotel and Casino

Unibet, a Kindred Group-owned business, has just had its first big milestone in the US – the launch of a sportsbook in New Jersey with Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.

This is, in fact, another extension of the deal between the two entities, as Unibet was running Hard Rock’s online casino since June of this year.

A Big Marketing Campaign Ahead

The new platform will have Kambi as the sportsbook supplier…

…and the whole enterprise will be operating on NJ.unibet.com domain – on desktop as well as mobile.

Ahead of the launch, there will be a big marketing campaign advertising this venture, operators say. It will focus on the beginning of the US major league’s new seasons. New Jersey’s Casino Service Industry Enterprise License is held together by Kindred and Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

Kindred will also launch their sportsbook in Pennsylvania over the course of next few months. Their partner there will be Mohegan Sun.

Kindred’s US senior vice-president, Manuel Stan, says:

Beginning of Cooperation

Unibet’s alliance with Hard Rock in New Jersey…

…began this June, when a contract was signed so that punters in this state get “first-class casino products in a safe environment.” Their alliance with Kambi promises “exceptional sports betting products.”

Stan reflected on the beginning of this partnership by saying:

“We are thrilled to announce that Kindred can now offer New Jersey customers a truly great gambling experience on a top technology platform in a sustainable, safe and secure environment. We have been preparing for this first and important step very thoroughly for a long time, and we are excited to take another step into what will most likely become the largest betting market in the world.”

GamBan Self-Exclusion System

GamBan blocking software is being used in the UK right now, and Unibet was among the first to implement it.

The usage of this system will make self-exclusion wildly easier as s will have access to it free of charge. The technology comes as part of the proposal that wishes to encom several key points that protects a certain group of people. It comes with the campaign that promotes more responsibility and safety in gaming.
