Unibet and Tour de Tietema introduce a Heart Health Awareness Campaign named "Follow Your Heart"

The official sponsor of Euro Handball Championship for men and women in 2020 will be Unibet, a betting brand and subsidiary of Kindred. The competition is taking place in Sweden, Austria and Norway from 9-26 January, as well as in Denmark and Norway later in the year.
Global head of sponsorships at Kindred Group, Timothy Mastelinck, has commented the company’s certitude with the following statement:
“Handball is continuing to grow in popularity and as a result the opportunity to bet on the sport is gaining traction. We are driven by a ion for sportsmanship and fair play, values we share with the EHF so continuing this partnership was logical for us.
We want to offer our customers an honest, transparent and safe gaming experience and ensure they are aware of their gaming behaviour so they can play responsibly.”
Unibet is among seven other carefully selected sponsorships chosen by Infront, a media agency under Wanda Sports Group.
Julien Ternisien, senior vice president at the agency, said that Kindred’s determination to expand presence at EHF Euro 2020 is important for the volume of all sponsorships, including Liqui Moly, Bauhaus, Lidl, Intersport, Gorenje, Grundfos and Engelbert Strauss.
“Kindred Group’s decision to expand their presence at the EHF EUROs speaks volumes about the impact its sponsorship had at the women’s event in 2018. In addition, the fact all eight packages have been sold for the men’s event highlights the value sponsors continue to put in men’s handball,” stated Ternisien.
Martin Hausleitner, secretary general of the European Handball Federation, added:
“The fact that all eight sponsorship packages have been sold is great news and underlines the attractiveness of handball for companies as we are looking forward to staging the biggest EHF EURO to date next month.”
Back in November 2019, Kindred’s leading subsidiary even entered into an agreement with the National Basketball League and became its official betting partner. As a result, the brand has gained access to NBA’s official wagering data, including league branding for mobile and online platforms.
In addition, the sports betting platform signed launched with Atlantic City’s Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, marking another landmark deal in North America.
Other brands from Kindred include 32Red, Bet24, Betchoice Corporation Pty Ltd, Bonza Gaming, SPS SAS, Social Gambling (Channel Islands) Ltd, iGame Malta Ltd and more.
