Some of that stuff was heavy, so let’s finish with an easy one.

  • A no” vote opposes this amendment to: lower the time required that someone is a member of an organization to manage a bingo game for that organization from two years to six months and remove the constitutional ban on organizations advertising bingo games.

All it does is make it less restrictive for someone who is a member of a non-profit organization to run a bingo game. Instead of being a member for two years, they must only have been a member for six months. This also gives non-profit bingo games the ability to themselves, should they choose to do so.

One organization, called, “Citizens for Bingo,” spent a little over a thousand bucks on this. No other real spending has been reported.

This is a state that already has legalized and regulated commercial casinos, if nothing else, it is a surprise that bingo is still forbidden from advertising to begin with. As far as NPO’s are concerned, they should be allowed to have anyone they trust manage the games. There’s no earthly reason this author can think of to vote, “No,” here.
