Aquarius Casino Resort
Located in Laughlin on 1900 South Casino Drive, many old-school Laughlin visitors will have known this property as Flamingo, which was the name as of the time that it opened, in August of 1990 until 2006.
The property would originally open as the Flamingo Hilton Laughlin and was owned by Hilton Worldwide at the time of its 1990 opening. Harrah’s Entertainment would own the property until about 2005, at which point it was sold to American Casino and Entertainment Properties. Between 2000 and 2005, the property would no longer be branded as a Hilton and would simply be known as the Flamingo Laughlin.
The name would be changed to Aquarius as of 2006, undergo a couple of renovations in the intervening years and would become part of a sale to Golden Entertainment in 2017, which involved Golden Entertainment buying all of the operations of American Casino and Entertainment Properties, which also included a few Las Vegas based casinos.
The furnishings of the hotel are not the most modern that you will ever find, but they are very neat and attractive. There is a high priority put on room cleanliness at this property, and for those of you looking for a view, you’ll be happy to know that several of the property’s guest rooms and suites overlook the Colorado River.
The property would typically be home to a modestly sized fitness room, but that closed during Covid-19 and has yet to reopen as of the time of this writing. The sizable property is home to 1,907 guest rooms as well as just over 57,000 square feet of total gambling space. Guests will enjoy wireless internet access as well as a sizable outdoor pool that features some 100 daybeds as well as two separate jacuzzis. Additionally, the property is home to a small arcade that has fewer than ten games, but if you’re travelling with the kids, that at least gives them something to do.
In of the overall amenities and appointments, the Aquarius was obviously built to be something of a higher-end resort, but that was more than thirty years ago and the last major renovation was more than a decade ago, so now it basically exists as something of a very nice sort of value property that has a full complement of amenities. I guess what we are saying is that you can tell what the property used to be like from the offerings, but it’s still pretty great, don’t worry.
While we will never be a fan of Resort Fees, considering what you get, the $17.00/night Resort Fee for this property is more reasonable than those of Las Vegas properties—some of which charge double that and do not even have as many services to offer their guests…hell, some that have limited services and even smaller casino floors, for that matter.
In of the actual room rates, standard rooms may often run under $50 on weekdays, especially if it’s not the biggest demand season and there are no events filling up the small river town. Weekend rates will typically be anywhere from $139-$300 depending on what’s going on and how busy the weekend is, but believe it or not, that actually represents cost savings compared to most Las Vegas hotels during busy weekends, and as we mentioned, the property itself is quite nice and has plenty to offer.
The property is home to the Laughlin Event Center which occasionally has major national acts that come to the venue to perform. For example, this venue played host to artists such as Darius Rucker, Kid Rock, Toby Keith and many others during 2021. If you want to see what major national performers may be visiting the property in the near future, then you can follow this convenient link here.
Of course, when these sorts of artists are coming to town is when you can expect the room rates to be near their peaks, so if you’re not interested in a particular performance, those will be the rare times that you will likely get cheaper hotel rates at some Las Vegas casino properties, particularly Downtown. Of course, if the weekend of your trip coincides with one of these concerts AND something like a Las Vegas Raiders home game—you’re probably going to have to be ready to cut at least one expensive night into your budget wherever you go.
The E Center is another of the property’s entertainment venues that often features both musical performances and comedy skits. Once again, you’ll want to go to the property’s website for specific information as to what might be going on during your stay, especially if it’s something you want to be there for, as these performances are sometimes a bit irregular.
Splash Lounge is one of the property’s sports lounges that also occasionally doubles as an entertainment venue and dance floor. You will want to call for more specific details as to performance schedules, but this place often features live music and/or live DJ’s on weekends.
Other lounges include The Cove Lounge, which almost looks like the sitting room in a business traveler hotel, but it’s a lounge and bar, we promise. You will enjoy relaxing from a busy evening here, maybe even read a book, as it features comfortable upholstery and floor to ceiling windows that overlook the Colorado River. If you weren’t able to get yourself a riverview room, then you can come here and hang out, which is the next best thing!
The Zodiac Bar is the main casino bar and is located in the center of all of the action. As you would probably expect, it features a wide variety of bar top video poker machines, so you can enjoy putting down a few drinks and playing a video poker game without even having to look up…well, as long as your muscle memory is decent.
River’s Edge Pool Bar is exactly what it says, it is the bar for the hotel’s swimming pool area, but also features a few hot items, such as burgers and drinks as well as plenty of snacks. The best part about this location, of course, is that it overlooks the Colorado River.
That brings us to the offerings of this sizable casino floor. It would be on the small end by Las Vegas Strip standards, but on the large end by Downtown Las Vegas standards (in fact, it would be one of the biggest), so that should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect.
The property is home to more than 1,000 combined slot, video poker and video keno machines ranging in denomination from pennies to $5/credit. According to VPFree2, they have some of the best Video Poker paytables in Laughlin, with a plethora of games that pay in excess of 99% return to player with optimal strategy. You’d practically have to be trying to find a bad Video Poker game at this property.
In of the slots, there are plenty of classic slot titles available as well as a bunch of new stuff. You can probably expect that the slots floor at the Aquarius won’t have all of the absolute newest machines out there, at least not compared to Las Vegas, but they are sure to have some of them as well as many machines that you may have enjoyed in the past that are no longer available at the casinos you would typically visit.
The property also features a sizable Table Games pit with games such as Pai Gow Poker. Naturally, not all of the carnival games are going to operate 24/7, so if you’re going to base your visit on any one of them being open, you should call and inquire about the general days and times you can expect to find them.
With that, we will turn our attention to the restaurants on the property, except the pool bar, as we already covered that one.
The main stop for casual American food is going to be the Cafe Aquarius, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner from the early morning to late evening hours, seven days per week, and has this to say:
For a quick bite to eat or a meal at your leisure, dining is available at Cafe Aquarius. The menu at this Laughlin, Nevada restaurant includes a wide array of selections, with all breakfast favorites, lunch traditions, and dinner specialties including our succulent Prime Rib, specialty gourmet burgers, and a variety of breakfast favorites. Don’t forget to check out the great specials.
This is basically the sort of American food restaurant that is quintessential to Las Vegas casinos. Decent food at economical prices that gets the job done.
You may have already enjoyed a slice from River Rock Pizza and Pasta in one of their Las Vegas locations, so if you were a big fan, the good news is that the Aquarius is also home to this popular and very budget friendly pizza restaurant.
Duet Coffee and Wine, when it comes to the eats, is basically a grab and go place for sandwiches, pastries, salads, Krispy Kreme Donuts, and other things, though you can sit down if you want to. If you’re looking to get caffeinated, then they also have you covered with a wide variety of tasty coffee drinks that are going to help get you started for the day.
The property is also home to the Outback Steakhouse, which is a casual American chain of steakhouses that many of our stateside readers have probably been to on more than one occasion. It’s kind of a tough restaurant to say we recommend, simply because they are very common and kind of basic, but we can say that our experience with them has been that they are consistent—so you at least know what you’re getting.
The property is also home to three fast food outlets, which include McDonald’s, Subway and Panda Express.
Overall, this is one property to consider if you are going to Laughlin anyway, or if the weekend rates are going to be insane during your Vegas stay, but you were planning to rent a car anyway and are looking to stay somewhere that is a little bit more economical.
The gambling offerings at Aquarius are not quite as expansive as those of other Laughlin properties, but the Video Poker seems to be pretty great, so we would imagine that many visitors to this property are coming, in part, for the strong paytables.
Other than that, you might go to Laughlin because you want to enjoy a concert or the activities on the Colorado River, of which this property has some phenomenal views, but this isn’t the sort of property that we would call a destination resort unto itself. That’s mostly because the food offerings aren’t particularly varied and, one fast food place aside, consist only of American food.
Avi Resort and Casino
Avi Resort and Casino is a small casino property that is one of the few Native American casinos in the State of Nevada. The property is home to 465 guest rooms and suites, 25,000 square feet of gambling space, and is owned by the Fort Mojave Tribe and operated by a company called Warner Gaming.
This property originally opened for business in February of 1995 and is within walking distance of both the California borders.
In addition to the hotel, this property is also home to a sizable RV Park, so that makes it an attractive option for many people traveling cross-country on the Southwest leg of their tour. In addition to the free wireless internet (which really is FREE because this property does not have any Resort Fees) guests will enjoy access to an outdoor pool, fitness center, private beach, boat launching area and other amenities. The fitness center, as of the time of this writing, remains closed (purportedly for Covid-19, so it must be pretty small), but is expected to reopen at some point in the future.
Similarly, massage services would normally be available in their parlor for an extra charge, but that is also temporarily closed (and remains so as of when this was written) as a result of Covid-19. Again, this is an amenity that is expected to return at some point in the future.
In addition to the largest beach on the Colorado River as well as the resort’s luxurious and attractive pool, there are plenty of other activities for the whole family. The property is home to a small eight screen movie theater that shows all of the hot new releases. More stuff for the kids to the time includes an arcade as well as a Kids Quest area where they can watch your little ones for a bit while you run off for adult playtime.
The rooms have recently been renovated and are relatively modern in their furnishings with plenty of natural light coming in. The nice thing about light colored furnishings and coverings is that you know it is clean, at least, visibly. However, while the property may not have a Resort Fee, we should caution that the room rates are higher than those of many other Laughlin properties, even after including the Resort fee on those.
Weekday rooms are usually going to be somewhere near $100 if the area is not extremely busy whereas weekend rates are going to be about double that, and often much more, if it’s a busy weekend or there is a special event going on in town that weekend. Basically, our advice for comparison shopping is just to add the Resort Fees of other properties in as if they were part of the room rate and then compare.
Of course, these rates are well justified as the property has recently been renovated and has a wider variety of services and things to do than do most other properties.
In of other entertainment, The Arrowweed Lounge would typically feature live entertainment, usually on weekends, but the property has suspended all live entertainment there as a result of Covid-19, and that remains true at least as of October 2021. If that’s going to make or break whether or not you choose Avi for your stay, then we would recommend checking their website to see if this has changed.
The property is d with the Mojave Crossing Event Center (the tribe own both), but it is not directly on the property. In fact, it’s in a different state, but all you have to do is cross the bridge over the Colorado River to get there, which you can do walking.
That brings us to the casino floor where guests will enjoy more than 650 combined video keno games. As of the time of this writing, there are no games of 98%+ return to player listed on VpFree2, and we certainly haven’t checked all of the paytables ourselves, so feel free to shoot us an E-Mail if there’s an update you can give us on that.
The property WAS home to a Bingo room prior to Covid-19, but that closed during the pandemic and is not coming back, unfortunately. The property is home to a Live Keno Lounge, but that also closed during Covid-19, remains closed as of October 2021, but is expected to return at some point in the future.
Table Games are currently operating during limited hours Thursdays-Sundays only, but we would expect these hours to expand and eventually go to seven days per week, and perhaps even 24/7 again, as business picks back up post-pandemic. Rather than publish the current specific hours (which could change anytime) we would instead advise our readers to check their website out for more information on that, especially if they are thinking about staying there.
Table Games include Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Ultimate Texas Hold ‘Em and High Card Flush.
Finally, we turn our attention to the dining selection. The closest thing to a fine dining restaurant at this property is Moonshadow Grille, which is currently open Thursday-Monday, starting at 4:00p.m., for dinner service. We would expect those hours to expand coming out of the pandemic, so keep and eye on their website for details.
Feathers Cafe is a casual place for quick eats and coffee drinks and is open from 7:00a.m. until the late evening hours, seven days per week.
Mojave Roast is another casual restaurant that opens at 7:00 a.m., seven days a week, and stays open until the late evening hours on weekdays and early morning hours on weekends. It is comfortably priced and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The food court is a small affair that is home to Panda Express, Subway, Sbarro (pizza place) and Thrifty Ice Cream.
This is the type of property that is ideal if you are traveling with family, and even more so if you are traveling by vehicle cross-country or just around the Southwest. There are plenty of amenities and things to do, property-wide that are fun for the whole family—which is what makes this our choice as the #1 property in Laughlin for family travelers with kids who want a ton of stuff to do without going off property.
Beyond that, Covid seems to have seriously hampered the gaming side of operations and the restaurant selection is a little bit limited, Covid or otherwise, so this probably is going to be a destination type of resort all to itself for individual adults or couples traveling together. It’s mainly just a fun place to have a great time as a family with a little bit for the adults to do if they can break away from the little ones for a bit.
Colorado Belle (R.I.P.?)
The Colorado Belle property is designed with a riverboat theme, in fact, it is a riverboat…just one that doesn’t move. The property originally opened in November of 1980 and is owned by Golden Entertainment.
The property was home to 1,168 total guest rooms and suites as well as more than 42,000 square feet of gamboing space.
Advanced Patent Technology would partner with Ramada on the project that would result in the Colorado Belle, which as mentioned, first opened in 1980. During this time, the property would take on another partner.
About four years later, Circus Circus Enterprises would purchase this property and would originally plan to relocate it for its newly expanding Edgewater Resort and Casino property.
That would come to and Colorado Belle would reopen in its current location in 1987.
Ownership would change hands a few times over the next two decades, but only technically, as Circus Circus Enterprises would become Mandalay Resort Group and would later be bought out by MGM Resorts, the latter event taking place in 2005. Of course, Colorado Belle was largely an afterthought in all of this as most of the concern of the parent companies had to do with the Las Vegas Strip.
This was demonstrated in 2007 when MGM Resorts would sell the property to Anthony Marnell III and Sher Gaming. Unfortunately, the new owners did not pick the best time to buy (not that they could have known) because the Great Recession was right around the corner and the Colorado Belle was not spared from the decline in tourism. However, they would retain ownership of the property and coast along until selling it to Golden Entertainment in January of 2019.
It seems like there is a disaster the year after this property changes hands and I am sure all of our readers are familiar with a little thing called the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite having only owned this property for just over a year, Golden Entertainment was forced to close it due to the pandemic and announced, as of May 2020, that the closure would be indefinite.
They have not necessarily said that the property would be permanently closed, but, “Indefinite,” is the second strongest word that could have been used.
Of course, this property was a fun little place that was largely frequented by Laughlin locals. Of the properties I went to, this was one of my favorites for almost feeling like a very large bar and slot parlor, and having great staff, rather than a full on casino. I spent the better part of a day here once. Maybe someone else will buy it, but if they do, I’m going to have to wonder what is coming the year after!
Edgewater Hotel and Casino
Located on 2020 South Casino Drive next to the now-closed Colorado Belle, Edgewater Resort and Casino is a property that would originally open in 1981 and would expand just a few short years after that.
This property is home to 1,053 guest rooms and suites as well as 57,457 feet of total gambling space. As with the Colorado Belle, it is currently owned by Golden Entertainment, which explains why the Colorado Belle is closed. Let’s hope that the traffic in Laughlin picks up coming out of the pandemic enough for the company to be able to reopen the Colorado Belle!
In 1981, there were some issues with some of the partners of the property having organized crime ties in Detroit, so they had to sell their shares to other partners. However, the new casino property was performing extremely well in its operations, which drew the attention of Circus Circus Enterprises, who would buy the property in 1983. It was around this time that they closed the Colorado Belle so that they could expand the Edgewater and add a hotel tower.
As with Colorado Belle, Circus Circus Enterprises first renamed itself (as in, the company) Mandalay Bay Resorts and then was bought by MGM Grand Resorts in 2005, including all of its assets. MGM had little interest in Laughlin properties and would sell this one (and Colorado Belle) to the same entities that we discussed in our Colorado Belle listing. They would then sell the two properties to Golden Entertainment in 2019.
Basically, Colorado Belle has been kind of the secondary property to the Edgewater for almost its entire existence, otherwise, as one goes, so goes the other.
As we mentioned above in our Aquarius listing, Golden Entertainment also owns and operates that casino, so they have a ton of exposure in the Laughlin area. Given the traffic slowdown as a result of the pandemic, it makes sense that they would not want to self-compete.
Guests of the property will enjoy access to Edgewater’s modestly-sized and fairly basic outdoor pool. The oversized spa is probably what most of the adults will prefer to use for relaxation, though. While the pool itself is pretty small, you definitely can’t argue with the view of the Colorado River from the deck area. Adult guests will also enjoy access to the property’s fitness center as a part of their stay.
For those traveling with kids in tow, the property is also home to a small arcade with about a dozen machines, but they’ll certainly like at least a few of them, so that gives them something to do.
This is another property that essentially has the Laughlin Event Center as a part of it, so you can check out our Aquarius listing for more information on that and the sorts of artists that you might expect to find performing at the venue.
The Edge Lounge is also an intimate entertainment venue, this one d with Edgewater Casino (obviously) that regularly features live musical performances. These tend to be somewhat sporadic, so we would recommend that you check out their website for more details on that if you are thinking about staying here.
Of course, these things cannot be considered free as guests of the property will pay a Resort Fee of $15/night plus tax. While Resort Fees are always bad and should arguably be abolished, we have to it that the ones for this property are fairly reasonable (at least compared to some other properties) since they have a fairly wide scope of amenities, services and things for the guests to do. Some properties that charge Resort Fees of nearly double this (such as Main Street Station in Downtown Las Vegas) don’t even have a pool on their properties!
Room rates on regular weekdays will usually be somewhere in the $33-$80 area, which makes this more of a value property than the Aquarius. The two properties are honestly extremely similar, but the Aquarius is just a little bit newer and has had a more recent renovation. We suppose the furnishings of the hotel here are a bit dated, but the rooms are still quite nice, and clean.
This is also what we meant when we said that we are thrilled that Avi does not have a Resort Fee, but you are still going to want to compare total costs if you are looking in Laughlin. Of course, the amenities, services and availability of different things for the whole family to do are much more expansive at Avi, but if you’re traveling alone or just as a couple, you might want to save money and—despite the Resort Fee—you’ll usually save money at this property overall.
Weekend rates will typically be anywhere from $130-$200 as long as there are no special events going on that weekend. If there are any special events, then all we can say is, good luck to you.
In addition to the lounge with entertainment that we covered, the property is home to the O’Aces Bar, which is off in a corner of the casino floor and has views of the Colorado River. Embers Bar is inside of the Hickory Pit Steakhouse, and as such, is located off the casino floor. Finally, the River Bar is a small bar that, as you would expect, also overlooks the Colorado River.
With that out of the way, let’s take a moment to discuss some of the casino floor’s offerings! After all, if you’re staying at Edgewater, that’s probably why!
The casino floor is home to more than 500 combined slot, video poker and video keno games of a wide variety of denominations. They make it a point to mention that more than 400 of their machines are penny denomination ones, so you won’t have trouble finding a modest minimum bet, if that’s what you’re looking for. According to VPFree2, the Video Poker is mostly bad with only two games over 98% return to player, which is awful by Nevada standards. I can’t say that’s absolutely true, but in my brief visit, I can say that I didn’t find anything in the 99% range.
Table Games include Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Three Card Poker, Let it Ride and Pai Gow Poker, as this sizable pit is a common reason that many of the property’s visitors stop in. The property is also home to a William Hill Sportsbook of reasonable size that features a small video wall and then many big screen TV’s to either side of that. It’s not a bad place to catch a game.
Eateries at the property include Stockman’s Steakhouse, which is something just short of upscale and is an intimate, comfortable and charming environment to enjoy a classical steak or seafood dish. This eatery certainly won’t break the budget, but the quality of food seems like it comes from a place that could!
PT’s Express is a common sight in Las Vegas for Quick Eats, mostly consisting of snacks and appetizers, so frequent Vegas Visitors will already know what they are getting if they decide to stop at the little eatery’s first Laughlin location.
Speaking of familiar Las Vegas places, Edgewater Casino is also home to a Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop location, which is a quick serve deli location that puts together delicious sandwiches with fresh meats, cheeses and vegetables. If you want a quick sandwich, then I wouldn’t hesitate to go here, they’re pretty good.
Edgewater Casino is home to a Denny’s, if you’re in the mood for something REALLY familiar. Denny’s is well-known for serving subpar American diner food nationwide, 24/7 and have locations pretty much everywhere. I guess there are some people who like Denny’s, so if you’re one of them Edgewater has you covered. (Don’t take offense…we all have our places…I’m probably one of the biggest Wendy’s fans to ever live!)
Finally, if you need a coffee, a donut, or both; Edgewater Casino has you covered with a Dunkin’ Donuts location in their food court.
There’s really not much for us to recommend on this one. If you’re going to Laughlin anyway and you want a place that might as well be the same as Aquarius (unless you are traveling with family), but cheaper, then check out the Edgewater. Of course, you should also keep in mind that the Video Poker here seems to mostly suck, so you’ll probably be walking over to Aquarius to do that.
Golden Nugget Laughlin
Laughlin, specifically 2300 South Casino Drive, is home to a Golden Nugget location of its own, with its comfortable and familiar gaudy and garish design, this property is also owned and operated by Landry’s Inc., and would originally open all the way back in 1967.
It could be said that this casino is one of the ones that were instrumental in making Laughlin what it is today as the real expansion wouldn’t come until the 1980’s with the openings of casinos such as Edgewater and Colorado Belle.
As it sits now, Golden Nugget is home to a small hotel consisting of 300 guest rooms and suites as well as a casino floor that boasts just over 34,000 square feet of gambling space. For those of you who have been to Las Vegas, for comparison, this would be just a little larger than the average Downtown Las Vegas casino.
This property, once owned by the Del Webb Corporation, also once went by the name of the Nevada Club. It would remain that way for a little over two decades until, in 1988, it was sold to the Golden Nugget Corporation. Facilities such as the hotel, indoor gardens and parking garage would be added a few years later. Poster Financial Group would purchase the property in 2004, but must have had a change of heart as they would sell it to Landry’s Inc the very next year.
The property is home to a small and quaint, but enjoyable, outdoor pool that they call H2O whose deck overlooks some residential area of Laughlin. Additionally, the property is home to two gift shops, one of which is d with one of the restaurants that we will detail below.
The main lounge for the casino is the Rush Lounge. The property does not have its own entertainment center, but obviously, is within spitting distance of the Laughlin Events Center.
The hotel rooms are pretty much what you would expect from a modestly-priced Landry’s owned property, which is to say that they are nicely furnished, nicely appointed and well-cleaned. Compared to some other properties, the furnishings are pretty basic, but the rooms are legitimately kind of charming and resemble what you would expect from a limited service hotel that has a decent reputation.
They have a Resort Fee, even though the property itself doesn’t have a ton to offer. However, the Resort Fee is, “Only,” $7.99, so that could be a lot worse. We also make note of the fact that there are many casino properties in the Las Vegas area that don’t even have their own pool, such as the Main Street Station owned by Boyd Gaming, for one example, that charge a Resort Fee of more than three times this amount.
Weekday rates will usually be within twenty bucks, or so, of $70 provided that nothing is going on in the area and demand is low. Anything can happen with weekend rates if the demand is high enough, so you will usually expect to see those well over $100, even when it is relatively slow and often more than $200/night for a standard room if something is going on in town.
That brings us to the two-story casino floor that is home to more than 700 combined slot, video poker and video keno machines. These machines aren’t considered the best video poker machines in Laughlin and, according to VPFree2, have only three games with returns in excess of 98% and only one that is over 99%. That’s certainly decent offerings compared to some other places in the country, but not by Nevada standards. Denominations on the machines range from pennies to $10/credit.
This property is mainly known, as far as value is concerned, for having cheap Table Games. Many of their gaming tables will have $5 minimums, as of the time of this writing. Games include Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Three-Card Poker and Pai Gow Poker.
The property is also home to a sportsbook and live keno area. The sportsbook is open from the morning hours until the middle evening hours, seven days per week. Live Keno is available from the late morning to early evening hours, Wednesdays through Sundays, as of the time of this writing.
That covers it for the gambling offerings, so let’s take a second to discuss what guests of the property can expect to eat.
The closest thing to an upscale restaurant at the Golden Nugget is the Saltgrass Steakhouse, which is designed to have a country meets western restaurant sort of theme and has this to say about itself:
An award-winning steakhouse famous for serving Certified Angus Beef® brand steaks, known for its superior quality, tenderness and flavor. Each steak is cooked to perfection with Saltgrass-7 Steak Spice and then topped with fresh garlic butter to further enhance its mouthwatering flavor.
Saltgrass also offers a wide selection of equally as delicious fresh seafood, chicken, BBQ baby back ribs, as well as juicy burgers, sandwiches, salads and more. All breads, dressings, soups and desserts are made from scratch daily. Great food partnered with legendary hospitality make Saltgrass an enjoyable experience for the whole family.
If we had to compare it to anything, we would say that if you’re familiar with the national American comfort food chain, Cracker Barrel, just imagine that, except make it a steakhouse instead. Either way, as you can see from the menu, it’s very much all over the place and also has some economically priced dishes if you are dining on a budget. It is open for dinner service seven days per week.
Claim Jumper is a classic American restaurant that can be found at many Landry’s properties and features a little bit of everything. It’s open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and has nice views of some of the palm trees if you sit near the windows.
Laughlin Golden Nugget is also home to a Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. location that serves seafood, both fresh and fried, in a distinctly Southern style. This chain, named after a fictional character in a movie, has become somewhat well-regarded and many visitors to Las Vegas will be on the lookout for one. We expect the same to be true for Laughlin.
Open from the late morning to early evening hours, The Deli is your go-to stop if you are looking for quick sandwiches, soups and salads.
Bean and Bread is the property’s coffeeshop that also serves up breakfast sandwiches as well as a wide variety of breakfast breads and pastries. It’s open in the morning hours, except on weekends, when it also reopens in the evening hours for a bit.
Harrah’s Laughlin
Harrah’s Laughlin property located at 2900 South Casino Drive that is presently operated by Caesars Entertainment, owned by the Vici Properties Real Estate Investment Trust, and originally opened for business back in 1988.
One of the largest hotels in the area, this property is home to 1,505 guest rooms and suites as well as 56,357 square feet of gambling space. While there is plenty for family travelers to do at the property, many adults traveling without children will be looking for a quiet stay, but the property has them covered as one of the three hotel towers are adults only.
Harrah’s has changed hands, technically, over the years. The first event was that Harrah’s Entertainment bought out Caesars Entertainment, but would go on to rename themselves Caesars Entertainment. Just last year, El Dorado Resorts acquired all of Caesars Entertainment, and as with Harrah’s, decided to name the combined company Caesars Entertainment.
The property is home to a small events center of its own that mainly features sporadic tribute acts. We would recommend going to their website and checking out the events if live entertainment is going to be what makes or breaks whether or not you visit the property.
Naturally, they don’t own the Laughlin Events Center, but it’s a short walk away, so you can check out the Aquarius Casino and Resort website to get some information on shows that are coming to the event center.
Other activities at the property include a Salon, Spa and health center, but all of those closed during the Covid-19 pandemic, and while they are expected to reopen in the future, have not reopened as of October 2021, which is when this was written. If having a salon and spa is important to you, then you will want to check out the property’s website to see if this has changed.
If you are traveling with your kids and want to give them something to do, then the arcade at this casino is open five days a week as of the time of this writing, and is presently closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Of course, those of you traveling by RV may not be doing that in the near future as, while the property is typically home to an RV Park and campground, that was also closed during Covid-19 and, as of the time of this writing, still has not reopened. We would expect that area of the property to be back online sometime in probably April or May of 2022.
Harrah’s Laughlin has two pools that guests may access, both of which overlook the Colorado River, as well as a hot tub that also overlooks the river. The pool hours are also better than those of most casinos, being open from 9:00a-9:00p, as of the time of this writing. We should also mention that the South Pool, as part of the South hotel tower, is an adults-only pool, so those of you traveling without your kids won’t have to worry about being pestered by other people’s kids.
Similar to Avi Resort and Casino, Harrah’s Laughlin is also home to their own private riverfront beach on the banks of the Colorado River, so if you’re not in the mood to hang out at the pools, or just want to get a much closer look at the river, then that’s where you go.
Weekday rates for this Resort property are cheaper than most, probably owing to the fact that they have so many rooms to fill! Standard rooms can often be had for under $50 on weekdays, not including the Resort Fee, if there are no special events going on. Weekend rates, of course, are a bit more expensive with guests expected to pay rates in excess of $100 on standard rooms, even during the slower season, and often over $200 on busy days or if there is something going on in the area.
In addition to the d rates, guests will also pay a Resort Fee of $17.00/night. While, in our opinion, Resort Fees are never justifiable and should never have come into being, these resort fees are fairly reasonable compared to those of other properties with similar facilities and amenities.
The casino floor is home to more than 900 combined slot, video poker and video keno machines ranging in denomination from pennies to Bennies ($100/credit), so if you are a high-roller, then this is one of the Laughlin properties where you are more likely to find the sort of machines that you’re looking for. The video poker, according to VPFree2, is just okay by Nevada standards with a few paytables over 98% and one over 99% RTP with optimal strategy.
The property’s eight-table poker room is one of the only such facilities in Laughlin, so you take what you can get, and features Limit and No Limit Texas Hold Em Thursdays-Mondays, as of the time of this writing. It used to be open seven days per week, so we would expect it to go back to that at some point if we ever get the pandemic behind us and demand picks back up.
The property is home to 38 other gaming tables that spread games such as Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Let it Ride, Pai Gow Poker, Three Card Poker, Mississippi Stud and Ultimate Texas Hold ‘Em. As a result, they have a wider selection of table games than most Laughlin casinos, so many visitors to the property will be going there for those.
The property is also home to a Live Keno lounge, which is one of the only ones in Laughlin that is open daily, 10:00a-10:00p, to be specific, as of the time of this writing.
Additionally, the property (as with most Caesars Entertainment properties) is home to a Caesars Race and Sportsbook that6 operates daily from the morning until late evening hours.
The property is also home to a total of eight restaurants, which includes one fine dining choice: The Range Steakhouse. The Range Steakhouse has been voted the best fine dining experience in Laughlin and many of the establishment’s tabes overlook the Colorado River. This outlet is open for dinner service five days per week and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
The Beach Cafe is exactly what it sounds like, a beach themed cafe. Brightly-lit and simply appointed, this eatery is casual American food that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner from the early morning until late evening hours, seven days per week.
The El Burro Borracho (or drunken donkey) is a dining establishment that is associated with celebrity chef Guy Fieri. This restaurant of his is a casual Southwestern eatery that specializes in fresh, colorful and tasty tacos, burritos and similar items.
Finally, many of our readers will be familiar with the delicious and cheap burgers and fries, as well as delicious shakes, of the Smashburger chain, which has a location of its own here at the Harrah’s Laughlin Resort and Casino.
The food court is home to four spots for quick eats including Starbucks, Cinnabon, Pop-Up Pizza and a place called Red Mango—which is a place to get frozen yogurt.
Overall, we would say that the Harrah’s Laughlin is one of the properties in town that offers a more complete experience similar to casinos in Las Vegas. While the offerings are not quite those of some of the Strip Resorts, a long stay at this property will cost far less and the property itself is almost as nice. There are a variety of eateries, although, we would like to see the property add an Italian restaurant at some point in the future.
With the private beach and one outdoor pool that those under 21 can access, it might not be as strong of a pick as Avi Resort and Casino, but given that this facility is also home to an arcade, family visitors should consider Harrah’s for their stay if they are visiting the Laughlin area. This might also be a place that will be able to get you comped if you are a Total Rewards member with qualifying play, if your usually Vegas haunt is unable to get you something that night.
Overall, this should be on the shortlist of properties for your consideration if you are visiting Laughlin anyway.
Laughlin River Lodge Hotel and Casino
The Laughlin River Lodge Hotel and Casino is located on 2700 South Casino Drive and is another one of Laughlin’s properties overlooking the Colorado River.
This property would originally open in 1984 as Sam’s Town Gold River, but would come to simply be called Gold River at some point after that. It was operated by Boyd Gaming until 1991, and in 1990, a hotel tower was added to the property as other casinos had been built, as well as other new hotel towers, during the time that Laughlin started to become a frequent stop for tourists.
Boyd Gaming would cease operating the property in 1991 and the new operators struggled, which would lead to Gold River filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1996. Allen Paulson would take over ownership of the property out of bankruptcy and rename it to River Palms Casino two years later.
The property would do a major hotel renovation in 1999, but unfortunately, Paulson did not get to enjoy that for very long as he would away the following year. His estate would manage the property for a few years, prior to selling it to Columbia Sussex in 2004. That business would later go bankrupt as a result of falling revenues owing to the Great Recession, which would lead to River Palms being bought out of bankruptcy, once again, this time by Tropicana Entertainment—who purchased most Columbia Sussex holdings.
That would only last for a few years as the Laughlin property was not the main reason that Tropicana was interested in acquiring most of the former Columbia Sussex properties, so they would go on to attempt to sell it to M1 Gaming about three years later, but that deal fell through as the would-be buyer couldn’t get financing. The following year, 2014, Tropicana would finally sell the property to Nevada Restaurant Services, a private company, for just under seven million dollars.
This property has a rustic theme and precisely 1,000 hotel rooms. In addition, the casino floor consists of some 41,000 square feet of real estate.
The Laughlin River Lodge is frequently a stop for those travelling with children, as the property features a bowling alley as well as a pretty large arcade, at least, by casino standards. Additionally, the property is home to a single outdoor pool, a private beach and an area devoted to playing PC Games…which is a very unique idea that should appeal to teenagers and young adults whilst the older adults will likely want to go off and gamble a bit.
Many of the rooms are fairly basic and modestly appointed with furniture that is showing a little bit of age. That said, the rooms are clean and have plenty of natural lighting coming in with many of them overlooking the Colorado River. If we had to compare the rooms to anything, then we would say that they are similar to what you can expect from one of the better economy hotels with decent housekeeping services.
The furnishings were even more dated, prior to the most recent change in ownership. Nevada Restaurant Services spent some bucks in 2014 to give the hotel side of the property a little bit of an update, so it’s most likely that they acquired their current furniture from other hotel properties who were themselves upgrading—hand-me-downs are not at all uncommon in the hotel industry.
Rooms are very much value-priced, as this is a value property and there are no Resort Fees to be found here, as of the time of this writing. This will be one of the more economical places you could stay, in particular, if you are seeing a concert at the Laughlin Event Center.
The most interesting thing about this property is that the casino actually consists of five casinos within a casino, all with distinct themes. Dotty’s Casino is one of these and is similar to any other Dotty’s location that you would find in the State of Nevada. Basically a place that would look like your Grandmother’s dining room, except with slot and video poker machines, it’s a quiet and comfortable place for those who would prefer not to be around a bunch of noise.
Bourbon Street Casino is a part of the Bourbon Street Sports Bar, which is one of the property’s casual American restaurants to grab some wings, a burger, other sandwiches or one of the many appetizer selections that you would expect from such a venue. Whether you’re there to eat, drink, watch the game, play pool, or gamble—this location within a location has you covered.
The Red Dragon Casino not only features Asian themed machines, but is also an Asian restaurant that is located at this property and has a varied menu that includes sushi. There are also claw games, a pool table and ping pong…so there you go.
La Villita Gaming and Spirits is the Mexican Fiesta themed casino and lounge that is located at this property and, like the others, is a distinct casino area to itself. There are a few dining tables, bartop video poker and the rest of it is mainly slot machines.
Points Casino s itself as a value gambling area and says that property points are earned faster there than in other areas. There are many bartop Video Poker machines, as well as some slots.
In total, there are more than 650 combined slot, video poker and video keno machines as well as a few electronic table games.
The casinos, as we mentioned, are also some of the property’s eateries, so we will cover the other ones not associated with any of the casinos, such as Strike Bowl, which is a little quick a stop snack stand that has a few hot items over at the bowling lanes.
The Bighorn Cafe is as close as you’re going to get to fine dining, which is a nicely appointed American place with a wide variety of options, including prime rib and a few different burgers. If you want something that has just a touch of elegance and can trust the kids to handle themselves for a bit, then you might decide to stop in here for a quality sit down meal.
The property is also home to the Lodge Buffet, which isn’t quite the spacious and wide-assorted affair that you would get from a Las Vegas Buffet, but when it is open, it’s very economically priced and will have something to satisfy any appetite.
Finally, the General Store is exactly what it sounds like and has some grab and go items, mostly sandwiches, but also a few hot items.
If you’re looking to have a good time with the family, or even like the novelty of the plan to go with five distinctively themed casinos all in one place and don’t take your gambling too seriously, then the Laughlin River Lodge might be a place that you want to check out. This is mostly going to be a place that you can stay in the Laughlin area at a very affordable price, especially for those of you who are traveling with family.
According to VPFree2, we would gather that the video poker is decent, with a handful of games that return more than 99% to player, assuming optimal strategy. For that reason, it might be a good place for those of you who have a few hours to kill and are just looking for decent paytables with no frills. Either way, it’s tough for us to recommend for anyone except family travelers or those who need to save money…not really a place for hardcore gamblers, in our opinion.
Pioneer Hotel and Gambling Hall
Not to be confused with the old Las Vegas Casino known as the Pioneer, Pioneer Hotel and Gambling Hall sits at 2200 South Casino Drive, in Laughlin and first opened for business as Colorado Club in 1979.
Actually, this was a sister property of the Pioneer Club in Las Vegas, hence the name, but that one no longer exists is the point.
Originally built by Tom Ward and Ed Nigro, the Colorado Club was the first casino in all of Nevada to come up with the idea of having a slots club for players. It’s pretty remarkable that an idea such as a slots club, which is pretty much a standard for every casino in the country now, has its roots in a small property in Laughlin that has gambling space of less than 15,000 square feet, but it’s true!
The Archon Corporation would purchase the property in 2004 and would rename it the Pioneer Hotel and Gambling Hall. They would add a sportsbook in 2009. The New Pioneer LLC would take over the property in 2018 with plans to renovate many aspects of it. They did, and the hotel consists of 416 guest rooms and suites.
If you’re looking for bargain rooms with no Resort Fee, then this is the place in Laughlin to get them as rates are only over $100 in the case of a special event. Even on weekends, rates do not typically go above $99/night, so this is definitely going to be one of the cheaper properties on weekend dates.
Of course, some of the Laughlin Hotels, for whatever reason, seem to be cheaper than this one on weekdays, so you are going to want to shop around then. Even some of the properties with Resort Fees will be slightly cheaper on the weekdays, so make sure to compare. However, you can pretty much assume that this is going to be your best bet for weekend rooms if your #1 goal is to save money.
Despite the renovations, standard rooms are clean, as you would expect, but very basic. You can see that much of the furniture has been around for a while, possibly since the property opened, but the beds are in pretty good shape…and that’s what really matters.
The property is home to one eatery, Bumbleberry Flats, which features American Comfort Food at a low price.
The property features just under 475 combined slot, video poker and video keno games in various denominations. There is a small sports and racebook. There are also a handful of table games that feature Blackjack, Craps and Roulette.
Regency Casino Laughlin
Regency Casino Laughlin is a small casino that is owned and operated by Regency Gaming LLC. The property was built in 1974 and would first open its doors in 1978.
When we say small, we mean it. This casino features only 5,000 square feet of gambling space and is located between the Edgewater and Aquarius on South Casino Drive. Some people driving down the drive probably don’t even notice it, or maybe they think it is part of some other property.
The slot floor consists of just 75 slot, video poker and video keno machines. They also have pool tables.
Similar to casinos in Las Vegas such as Longhorn, this property is home to a no-frills casual American restaurant called the Chuckwagon. If you want to load up on decent food at a really cheap price, then this is one place in Laughlin where guests can do exactly that!
Basically, this is a fun place to check out in Laughlin if you want to hang out with some locals or employees from other casinos who will sometimes come and chill here during their off hours. It’s basically the Laughlin equivalent of a small Las Vegas locals casino. Laughlin, of course, is much smaller than Las Vegas, so this makes sense.
Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort and Casino
Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort and Casino is not only a mouthful, but it’s also one of Laughlin’s largest resort casino properties and is located at 1650 South Casino Drive. This property would be the first major resort property in Laughlin and opened in August of 1966. As it stands now, it is home to 1,405 guest rooms and suites as well as just over 89,000 square feet of total gambling area.
There have been several major renovations over the years, though none in the last two decades, so you can expect this property to look and feel a bit dated compared to some of the others, but that’s not always a bad thing!
The property is also home to more than thirty bowling lanes, so as with several other Laughlin properties, is a place that has something to do for the whole family.
This is also one of the Laughlin casino properties that is home to an RV Park, so that should be taken into consideration for those of you traveling cross country who are on the Southwest leg of your journey, particularly those of you with kids.
The rooms are extremely simple and a little bit dated, at this point, but there is plenty of natural light and they are very clean. The property features multiple hotel towers and two pools, with the South hotel tower being an adults-only tower and pool, so those of you who are not traveling with kids will not worry about having to listen to any who do not belong to you.
Rates are generally anywhere from $59-$99 for standard rooms on weekdays when there are no special events or really high demand. Weekend rates, as can be expected, run a bit more than that. Generally, even standard rooms will be well over $150 on weekends and sometimes even safely over $200 if it’s really busy or there is a concert at the Laughlin Event Center.
Additionally, there is a Resort Fee of $17/night. While we absolutely hate Resort Fees, we have to it that there are many Las Vegas properties, such as the Main Street Station Downtown owned by Boyd Gaming, where guests pay a bigger resort fee for less amenities and services. Either way, you will want to that when comparison shopping.
This property has a wide range of entertainment options in addition to the bowling alley and casino floor! Entertainment venues for live acts include Don’s Celebrity Theatre, which sporadically features musical acts and comedians who come to the property to perform. If seeing live shows is important to you, then we would recommend checking out the entertainment schedule on their website so you can see if anything is coming up.
The Dance Club and a place called the Losers’ Lounge often feature live DJ’s and are the property’s places where guests can go and dance, if they like.
The property is home to the Don Laughlin Auto Museum, which is a free venue where those interested can come and look at an impressive collection of classic cars. Kid Kastle is a fun place for the really little ones to bounce out some of their energy, and for the older kids, there are two arcades at this property.
If that’s still not enough for you in of family entertainment, then you can go to the property’s movie theater to see a new release, or take the kids to play some Laser Tag.
When it comes to having the best attractions to appeal to visitors coming to the area with children, while many casinos in Laughlin have something to offer, and a few have a lot to offer, this is going to be our #1 recommendation. Even if you took the casino out of there completely, there would still be a ton for you to do…even if you’re an adult!
Of course, the casino floor might be the reason why you are visiting this property, so with that, we will take a look at some of the offerings available at the Don Laughlin Riverside Casino.
Riverside Casino West
Riverside Casino West can be accessed from the Riverside via a walkway from the main property, so we are going to include it in this listing rather than treat it as a separate casino. If you come to check out this area of the property, then you will find a combined 180 slot, video poker ands video keno machines in its 10,000 square feet of gambling space.
Additionally, this property on a property is also home to the Cafe Serrano Mexican Restaurant, which is a casually priced Mexican eatery with colorful and fresh food as well as great service, so now, we get back to the main property:
Including the Casino West, the property is home to some 1,200 toal slot, video poker and video keno machines with a wide range of denominations. According to VPFree2, they also have some of the best video poker paytables in Laughlin, with at least one 98%+ game existing for most variants as well as a handful of paytables that pay more than 99%+, with optimal strategy.
The casino is also home to a modest Table Games pit that includes Blackjack, Craps, Roulette and Three Card Poker. The property is also home to a Live Poker room with a few tables that deals No Limit Texas Hold Em.
Finally, the property is home to a sizable Bingo Room called Bingo Paradise, which makes it one of only a handful of casinos in Laughlin with Live Bingo offerings. If that is your game, then we would recommend calling them in advance to see what times and days their sessions are.
The Gourmet Room is the property’s fine dining establishment that overlook the Colorado River and features French, Italian and a steakhouse all in one place which, for fine dining, we have to it is a little suspect. While we are sure that the place is fine and many fine dining restaurants have a few dishes outside of their normal offerings, most of them at least tend to specialize in one thing, so you might want to think about that.
The Riverview Restaurant, as you would expect, also overlooks the Colorado River and is a traditional American restaurant that serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days per week.
BBQ on the River is a relatively new addition to the property and is a very casually priced sit down restaurant for delicious and hearty BBQ food. Don’t worry, even if you have the kids with you, there’s sure to be something on the menu that they will like. It is closed Mondays and Tuesdays as of the time of this writing.
Finally, the Sidewalk Cafe is your place to go for grab and go or cheap and quick eats and snacks located in the South Tower. It’s also there for you if you start to feel hungry after all of the other restaurants on property have closed. Naturally, it’s open seven days per week.
Basically, this resort casino property should top your list if you are traveling to the Laughlin area with your family, especially if you are doing so by RV. Their hotel accommodations will more than get the job done for you, but the most important thing is that they have more non-casino offerings for things to do at their property than any other casino in Laughlin as well as more unique eateries than most of them. For that reason, it is our #1 recommendation for those traveling with families.
Those of you without kids might also consider this resort property, especially if you are video poker players, as they seem to have several decent paytables.
For those of you who are looking for the cheapest prices on hotel accommodations and have no other concern besides that, then this place certainly isn’t the most expensive in Laughlin, but there are far cheaper places.
Either way, there’s plenty to do here, so it tops the list for us.
Tropicana Laughlin
The Tropicana Laughlin is immediately unique in that it is owned by Gaming and Leisure Properties, but it is currently operated by Caesars Entertainment. Most casino properties owned by Gaming and Leisure are operated by Penn National Gaming, and most properties operated by Caesars Entertainment are owned by a different real estate investment trust, Vici Properties.
Of course, this wasn’t always the case as this property (located on the odd numbered side of South Casino Drive) originally opened in June of 1988. When it first opened, the property was allied the Ramada Express, so that’s quite the switch!
As it sits now, the property is home to 1,498 guest rooms and suites as well as 52,840 square feet in total gambling space. The property was owned by Columbia Sussex who, two decades later, would cut ties with the Ramada name and rename the property Tropicana Express, which would later get changed to its current moniker.
In 2018, Gaming and Leisure Properties would acquire most of the Tropicana Entertainment properties, but for some reason, they leased this one to Caesars Entertainment rather than Penn National Gaming. Actually, they leased operations to El Dorado Gaming, but El Dorado would go on to acquire Caesars and rename that company Caesars Entertainment. It’s just all a bunch of ing and tax games anyway, so who really cares?
Guests of the property will enjoy wireless internet access with their stay as well as the arcade that is located on the property, which will give visitors to the property who have kids in tow something to do. The property is also home to a modest outdoor pool and hot tub.
Rooms at this property are very modestly furnished and very cheaply priced, with most standard rooms being in the $20-$70 range for weekdays when there are no special events. Weekend rates are all over the place, but will still be some of the lowest that you will see in the Laughlin area. In a three month range, we saw $85-$160, not counting New Year’s Eve, of course.
Of course, the property also has a nightly Resort Fee of $12, but that’s fairly reasonable compared to some others when it comes to what you get. Many properties in Las Vegas, such as Fremont Casino Downtown, which is owned by Boyd Gaming, charge a much higher resort fee even though they don’t have a pool on site.
The property is home to a modest showroom that frequently features acts around the calendar. Of course, the schedule can be a bit sporadic, so we would recommend that you check their website to see what’s coming up.
Tango’s Lounge is one of the lounges on property with a video poker bar, but it also features occasional live entertainment, though we would recommend that you call in advance of your stay as that schedule also seems inconsistent. Additionally, this lounge is also home to a dance floor.
The property is home to some 1,050 total slot, video poker and video keno machines ranging in denominations from pennies to $10. There are a few 99%+ Bonus Poker variant games, but you can expect most of the Video Poker offerings to be worse than that.
The property is also home to 21 gaming tables on which games such as Blackjack, Roulette Craps are spread. As of the time of this writing, table games are completely closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so that’s something you will want to keep in mind when planning a stay. We expect that this is due to the pandemic slowdown, so we would expect the situation to change post pandemic if business picks back up.
The Tropicana is also home to a huge Bingo Room that is one of the only ones in the area to have sessions every day of the week, which is surprising, because they do not have table games seven days per week at this time. I guess the Bingo there must be popular.
The property is also home to a William Hill Sports Book, which you would think would be a Caesars Race and Sports Book, but nope, it’s William Hill.
The Brew Brothers Tap House and more is your place for the best choice in draft and craft beer that you will find in Laughlin. Unfortunately, they are closed Monday-Wednesday as of the time of this writing. Open for dinner service the rest of the week, there’s plenty to get there besides alcohol as they feature some of the best sandwiches, burgers and salads in the area.
Carnegie’s Cafe is a casual American diner style restaurant with cheap eats that has a very odd schedule, as of the time of this writing. Basically, they are opening at 6:00 a.m. seven days per week, but they close at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday and Thursday, which makes it seem just kind of random. We have seen this before at other properties, but it’s usually two days in a row that a place will close early.
aggio is a casual Italian Restaurant that is currently open only on the weekends for dinner.
Dip N’ Dogs features Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs and Thrifty Ice Cream.
Finally, the Poolside Cafe is open from 6:00 a.m. until the late evening hours and features a variety of pastries, donuts and breads as well as a wide assortment of coffee drinks.
That basically covers it for the Tropicana, which honestly, is mainly just a place that you’re going to want to consider if you are trying to save some money on your overnight accommodations. Asa far as the property’s other offerings are concerned, they don’t have as much going on as most of the other Laughlin Resort Casinos, but they’re fine if you’re just looking to save a few bucks on your Laughlin trip.
