World-famous UK gambling operator, William Hill, operates 107 sportsbooks in 190 casinos across the state of Nevada and now has decided to add the lucky number of seven new sportsbooks in this popular location for ionate gamblers from all over the world.
This gambling brand was the first one to jump into the business of legal sports betting in the US after the US Supreme court overturned the sports betting federal ban in May of 2018. Besides Nevada, William Hill holds sports betting partnerships in the states of Mississippi, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and West Virginia.
These famous bookmakers gained licensing approval recommendations from Nevada Gaming Control Board for four properties in Las Vegas and Laughlin, including sites in North Las Vegas, Reno and in the Stateline region, close to the border with California.
William Hill holds an agreement to operate with Golden Entertainment properties, which in Las Vegas include Stratosphere Casino, Arizona Charlie’s Boulder, Arizona Charlie’s Decatur and also the Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin.
This UK company holds a partnership with famous Eldorado Resorts that have applied for the approval of the acquisition of a 20 percent state in the William Hill US Business. William Hill officials have also asked for the approval of opening new racebooks and sports pools in partnership with Eldorado Resorts at the Eldorado Hotel And Casino in Reno and Montbleu in Stateline.
We’ll have to wait and see if the Nevada Gaming Commission will approve all of these recommendations on January 24th of 2019. The William Hill istration is also hoping to invest into something similar at Jerry’s Nugget Casino in North Las Vegas.
After naming Sharon Otterman as the new Chief Marketing Officer for the US branch of the company, William Hill has big plans for the future. They plan to invest in entertainment and displays at licensed sports betting facilities across the US and also plan on installing self-service kiosks at various locations where they’ll offer their services.
“We’ll typically go in and upgrade the facilities, put in our equipment and the display systems that we use,” William Hill CEO for the US region, Joe Asher, told for the press in a recent interview.
This UK company holds 137 active sportsbooks around the US and just in Nevada alone holds a market share of somewhere around 30 percent. Since they were the first ones to jump on the bandwagon when the new law was brought up in the US, William Hill signed an agreement with Eldorado Resorts to include their services into more US states as they continue legalizing sports betting across the country.
At the end of 2018, the news broke that William Hill will be purchasing a Swedish online-only brand known publicly as Mr. Green (MRG) and that by doing so this British company would reduce exposure on the domestic market. But, not only that. According to experts, this acquisition will have a huge economic impact on the company since MRG has shown an immense growth potential over the past year.

Wow, the companies are literally going crazy with this new sports betting law. It is no surprise, I can’t even imagine how big the revenues will be.
