Yggdrasil Agrees Content Deal With Several GVC Brands

GVC, who has been making a lot of headlines recently, has entered into a strategic partnership with Scandinavian content creating powerhouse, Yggdrasil. The minutiae of this deal includes details of gaming content being provided to several different brands belonging to the operator.

Some of the largest gaming and betting groups in the United Kingdom: Ladbrokes (which GVC purchased in 2017 for 4 billion), Coral and Gala, will be offering Stockholm-based company’s range of inventive games to their patrons.

The finalization of the deal took place this week and will see some of best performing video slots delivered to this array of sites with significant online presence and reach.

A Feat of Rare Magnitude

Yggdrasil’s CEO, Fredrik Elmqvist, aware of the sheer size of this partnership, remarked on this:

“This is a significant agreement with some of the industry’s largest brands and I’m thrilled to be able to announce it today ahead of Europe’s largest gaming event, ICE London, in a few weeks’ time.”

By the segment nature of this brand, the supplier will be diversifying their own portfolio of operators they have partnered with, because Gala is primarily concerned with online bingo sites and is one of the leaders in the UK.

…and these three contribute to GVC’s stature of UK’s /uk-casinos/ largest high street bookmaker and “one of the world’s largest online-led listed companies.” They are licensed in more than 20 regulated markets.

High Values and Splendid Features

Players that utilize all three brand’s online services will soon gain full access to Yggdrasil’s full portfolio of games…

…and that includes some of the more recent releases that were extremely well received, such as Hanzo’s Dojo, Baron Samedi and Trolls Bridge.

As part of the package to be included within the delivery, the supplier’s range of in-game promotional tools, BOOST, will allow operators to run promotions from within the game.

Gaining Momentum

The first glimmers of this big cooperation were heralded back in November, when Yggdrasil developed and released a GVC-exclusive title, Time Travel Tigers.

GVC will be happy to keep the momentum of positive events coming their way, as the company released two big pieces of info in recent days.

They started off by itting that 2018’s revenue exceeded all expectations and that it is estimated that the total annual GGR rise will be around 20%, for a total of 750 million British pounds!

Soon after that, a trio of new executives have been promoted to high management positions and will work on steering the company’s resources towards this year’s goals.
