Galaxy Gaming and Spirit Gaming Introduce Innovative Blackjack Progressive at Spielbank Hannover!

Some big changes are taking place over at Galaxy Gaming where three new senior executives have been appointed to their respective roles.
The table games provider named John Strickland its new marketing director. Gabrielle Houston is a new vice president of finance and controller, while Ann Huysmans assumes a gaming compliance manager position.
Strickland, who has over 22 years’ worth of experience in advertising, branding and product marketing business, will be preparing and implementing Galaxy Gaming’s annual marketing plan. He will be in charge of covering new product launches…
…as well as tradeshows and communications by the company. His track record includes 14 years in the casino and gaming sector with Scientific Games Corporation, SHFL Entertainment and MTR Gaming Group.
Houston has over 18 years of experience in various business operations outlets. Her resume consists of roles at Aristocrat Technologies Australia, MGM Resorts International and SHFL Entertainment – all leading industry brands.
Huysmans has served within Galaxy as compliance manager since 2017, so for her, this move is a promotion. She has over 14 years of experience within the gambling industry, having worked with companies such as Station Casinos and Konami Gaming.
President and CEO of the company, Todd Cravens, welcomed the new recruits with the following words:

These talented team will enhance our ability to new markets and develop new products. I am really proud of the team that we continue to build here at Galaxy.”
Along with these appointments, Galaxy also added ex-Scientific Games CEO, Gavin Isaacs, to board of directors.
As the second half of the year kicked off, gaming companies all over are working on reinforcing their structures. Galaxy isn’t the only one busy finding new people to take them to higher goals…
…as merely days ago, BetConstruct named Victor Hoffmann their marketing chief. Hoffman, who held the position as Marathonbet CEO prior to this naming, will also be taking on a role of VBet’s global director.
Speaking of his new job, he said: “We will revive and reintroduce this distinctive, reputable and trusted brand to the masses and bring innovative new experiences and outstanding value to customers globally.”
Also at the beginning of June, Nektan PLC announced a change of their own. Moving on to his new role within this gaming platform and services provider will be Simon Hay, former GVC Holdings executive.
Hay will be Nektan’s Chief Financial Officer and will begin his journey with the company on June 17th.
Nektan’s CEO, Lucy Buckley, welcomed Hay to the ranks by stating that he is ing at a very exciting time for the business as rapid growth and the path to sustained profitability continue.
“His international expertise will be especially valuable as we expand into new emerging territories, providing leading gaming and casino brands with our technology and content globally,” concluded Buckley.
