Homeless Star Danniella Westbrook Seen Gambling - Lost House, Car Over Christmas

Danniella Westbrook, a British soap opera and reality TV star, was spotted gambling at a bingo hall this week.

Reportedly homeless, the former EastEnders actress lost her car and home this month after failing to make payments.

Due to a lack of acting gigs, Westbrook took a job at a tooth whitening clinic but was fired after one day.

According to the Daily Mail, shop owner Nicole Francis said that Westbrook’s personal hygiene is the reason why she was fired.

Specifically, the 43-year-old left bloodied tissues lying around that she used to clean her septum, which eroded due to heavy cocaine use.

Despite Nicole’s explanation, Danniella believes that her being fired was due to her appearance.

“Just so everyone is aware… I WILL NOT BE DOING TEETH WHITENING AT LIP COUTURE,” Westbrook tweeted.

“Apparently due to my septicaemia & multiple operations clients don’t want to look at me or have me treating them. SO Nicole’s mum Suzanne will be doing the treatments… Wishing the girls all the best & happy Christmas all x.”

The Daily Mail confirmed that Westbrook didn’t win anything during her bingo session. And it’s a shame because a jackpot could’ve really helped the actress, who’s down on her luck after a lengthy television career.

She played Samantha Mitchell in the BBC soap opera EastEnders from 1990–1993, 1995–1996, 1999–2000, 2009–2010, and 2016.

In recent years, Westbrook has appeared on reality shows like ITV’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, Dancing on Ice, Hollyoaks, and the seventeenth season of Celebrity Big Brother.

Her last TV appearance was a brief stint on EastEnders, where she and her brother, Grant. witnessed the death of their mother, Peggy Mitchell.

One problem that’s plagued Westbrook’s acting career is her cocaine addiction. She first tried the drug as a 14-year-old in a London nightclub. After becoming a regular on EastEnders at age 16, Westbrook’s cocaine usage turned into a full-time habit.

“I was always in clubs and everyone was doing coke and it was glamorous – except obviously, it wasn’t at all,” she said. “I was just very young, very stupid and very easily led.”

By 2000, her septum had eroded and paparazzi snapped pictures as proof.

It’s estimated that she has spent £250,000 on cocaine over her lifetime. She itted contemplating suicide numerous times before entering rehab.
