Gaming Corps, an emerging games developer, has achieved a significant milestone by acquiring permission from the Swedish Gaming Authority to operate in its home country of Sweden.
This license, which will be valid for a five-year period, aligns with the requirement for all gaming software suppliers to hold a license by July 1 in order to offer their services in Sweden.
Swedish authorities have made new decisions according to which companies must apply for a new license with which they will be able to continue providing their services on the market after the above-mentioned deadline.
Gaming Corps is one of the first companies to secure this major approval, which marks a significant milestone for the brand.
Originally implanted in the world of video games, the developer has successfully expanded its presence in the iGaming sector. Its diverse portfolio encomes Crash, Mine, Table, and Slot games, along with the certified Plinko. Among their successful titles are Coin Miner, Penalty Champion, Jet Lucky 2, Raging Zeus Mines & Aztec Bonus Pot as well as many other online casino adventures.
The inclusion of Sweden on Gaming Corps’ list of approved territories further solidifies the company’s position in the industry. Having already met the necessary requirements and obtained licenses in Gibraltar, the Netherlands, Greece, Estonia, and Spain, this achievement marks another significant step forward for the company.
Juha Kauppinen, Gaming Corps’ CEO, said: “It is gratifying for us that more and more markets are moving towards regulation, and we are pleased to become an official licensee in Sweden as we continue to grow the number of markets where players can enjoy our game content. The new license regulations in Sweden are a very positive step to help protect players and promote safer gambling, and we are very happy to offer our games to players in line with these new regulations as a licensed games developer.”
The Swedish market has experienced great popularity in a short time, and it is predicted that it will grow even more in the future. Gaming Corps has once again taken the right step and secured its position both in the market and in the region.
