Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner divorcing over Ben's Gambling Problem

Just a few months ago, Ben Affleck was all over the news for his blackjack card counting exploits. And according to recent reports, this is part of why he and Jennifer Garner are now headed for a $150 million divorce.

As various celebrity gossip outlets report, the couple has not been pictured together in over a month. An insider claims, “Often, when Ben and Jen have a problem, they just agree to ride it out and be miserable together until they can get some time apart. Jennifer has close friends who think that she and Ben are a horrible fit, despite how much he loves being a father to those kids.”

The couple, which married in 2005, have three kids together, Violet (9), Seraphina (6) and Samuel (3). However, it appears that Garner has grown tired of Affleck’s high stakes gambling ion, which includes blackjack and poker.

“Jen has actually been preparing herself emotionally for this divorce for some time,” said another insider. “She sees a therapist to learn how to cope with the divorce, and how to deal with the kids after they split. She’ll take custody of them.”

As for Affleck, he was recently seen in Canada on a solo trip without his wedding ring, while also being spotted in Las Vegas on the high stakes poker tables. Rumors suggest that Affleck wants to wait for the couple’s 10-year wedding anniversary before the news comes out.

Some may Affleck’s card counting escapades, where he was caught at the Hard Rock Las Vegas. Casino officials at Hard Rock politely asked the Daredevil star to try some of their other casinos because he was “too good” for their blackjack games. Just weeks after this, when he was filming Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, Affleck was also asked not to play blackjack at the Motor City Casino in Detroit.

Going back to the Hard Rock incident, Garner was with Affleck and reportedly embarrassed when her husband was caught counting cards. Further gossip suggested that they had an argument following the point when Affleck was asked to leave. Nevertheless, it looks like he still loves playing casino games and poker, despite the possibility that it may be leading to his divorce.
