Stakelogic Partners with L&L Europe to Expand Its Reach in the UK, Malta, and Sweden

Dutch gambling regulator Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) and Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) have signed the mutual Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The aim of this agreement is to make an end to illegal gambling activities in the respective markets.
The two gambling authorities will work together in order to ensure that criminal activities are minimized within their jurisdiction.
KSA and MGA will share the best practices and their understanding of what works best…
…in regards to fighting the online gambling crime. Their information will help them engage in discussion regarding policy matters related to these illicit activities.
The two bodies will also collaborate on protecting vulnerable players from gambling addiction and all the related harm. As well ensuring the Malta and Dutch gambling markets are fair and transparent.
KSA chairman, Rene Jansen, commented:
“These MoUs are a solid basis to share knowledge, to cooperate, and to smoothly exchange information. At the same time operators will be receiving a clear signal that hands of regulators will be ed internationally.”
Heathcliff Farrugia, CEO of MGA, has praised the new agreement, that says that MoU will similar arrangements that the authority has in place with regulators.
He said:
“Our relationship and cooperation with Kansspelautoriteit has already yielded tangible results in the past, and with this MoU, apart from formalising such a relationship, a stronger collaboration at an international level is also ensured.”
The online gambling market in Netherlands is set to launch in the summer of 2021…
…and the Dutch authorities have recently submitted another batch of revisions and regulations to the European Commission to review.
The will be provided until November 13th. The legislation includes technical standard and licensing requirements.
