Aaron Mollura Appointed Director of Marketing at Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino

Florida. Mollura is tasked with positioning the new resort as the leading entertainment venue in South Central Florida while attracting visitors from both coasts of the state.

Marty Johns, the General Manager of the resort, expressed confidence in Mollura’s abilities. “Aaron has extensive experience in the casino industry, so we’re happy he’s ed the team,” Johns stated. “He’s going to be a tremendous asset going forward.”

A Wealth of Experience in the Casino Industry

Mollura brings with him a deep and varied background in the gaming industry, having started his career in 2004. His initial role was at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa, where he worked within the Players Club. Mollura then moved on to serve as Player Development Manager, overseeing the casino’s hosts before transferring to the Hard Rock Rocksino in Northfield, Ohio, as Director of Marketing. During his time there, Mollura helped establish the property as the top-performing casino in Ohio.

In 2017, Mollura relocated to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Hollywood Casino. There, he served as both Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of Food & Beverage. His leadership played a key role in the sale of the casino property and its transformation from a riverboat to a fully operational, land-based facility.

After three years of working as Vice President of Marketing for a nationwide consortium of 38 home service repair providers, Mollura returned to his roots in the casino sector. He relocated to Cape Coral, Florida, and was soon drawn to the opportunity at the newly established Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino. “I knew I missed the casino industry, so when I saw the opportunity at Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino, I just had to pursue it,” Mollura commented. “It’s an exciting time for sure.”

Mollura holds a BA in International Hospitality Management from the University of Huddersfield in the United Kingdom. Beyond his professional career, he enjoys boating and fishing, ions he pursues during his downtime.

Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino – A State-of-the-Art Resort

The Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino is the latest addition to the Seminole Tribe’s portfolio, replacing the original Seminole Casino Brighton that had operated since 1980. The new resort features nearly 38,000 square feet of gaming space, offering a wide variety of entertainment options for guests. The casino includes 640 slot machines, 18 table games such as blackjack, craps, and roulette, as well as a high-stakes bingo area. Additionally, the property features a smoke-free gaming section with 104 slots and a high-limit area with 42 machines and four table games.

For dining, guests can enjoy a selection of restaurants including the 126-seat EE-TO-LEET-KE Grill, Josiah Steakhouse with 62 seats, and a fast-service café offering items from the Constant Grind coffee bar and Slice pizza kitchen.

The resort also includes an indoor event space capable of accommodating up to 400 guests for banquets or bingo, or 900 people when configured as a performance venue. Notably, the property is home to the first-ever ten-lane bowling alley in any Seminole Casino, a 7,044-square-foot facility known as Brighton Bay Bowling.

A hotel is also part of the new development, marking the first-ever hotel built on the Brighton Seminole Reservation. The hotel includes 100 guest rooms across four stories, totaling 72,000 square feet. Room types range from single king or double queen rooms, with three suites available as well. For fitness enthusiasts, there is also an on-site fitness center.

The resort’s location, near Lake Okeechobee, pays homage to the nearby Fisheating Bay, just over two miles away. The bay’s name originates from the Seminole term “Thlothlopopka-Hatchee,” meaning “the river where fish are eaten,” which was recorded on a military map from 1839.
