Booming Games Begins Swedish Online Gaming Operations Via Betsson and Videoslots Deal

Since its relaunch in January 1st, Sweden’s iGaming market has been almost overwhelmed with diverse licensees offering their services on what has become a regulated environment, free of predatory operators – a much different matter from only a year ago.
Such a climate attracts reputable global operators whose status would be endangered if they were to conduct business in a shady market. One such high-flier, Booming Games Limited, has announced the successful agreement of deals with Panda Media Limited and Betsson AB…
…leading them to premiere entry into this Nordic country, having launched the Stellar Spins video slot not more than month ago.
Plenty to Play For
Under the of this agreement, the Malta-based B2B provider will deliver its portfolio of slot titles to several online casinos operated by these brands…
…such as VideoSlots and Betsson.com. Booming will see its range of slot games, such as Crazy Bananas, VIP Filthy Riches, Boomshakalaka and Booming Seven Deluxe, distributed to these sites, with more to come in the future.
The announcement of the company’s entry to market of Sweden was published late last week, when Chief Commercial Officer, Frederik Niehusen, said that the developer became one of the most recent ones to obtain a B2B license from Spelinspektionen, the country’s official state-sponsored regulator.
“We are happy to continuously expand our reach in regulated markets with close partners like Betsson AB and VideoSlots.com.”

…as Sweden is merely the first of many jurisdictions to be entered by this talented studio which has similar content distribution deals going with We Are Casino and Patagonia Entertainment. Niehusen has already proclaimed in an earlier statement that their future games will be certified by regulators in Denmark, Italy and Isle of Man…
“Sweden is one of the most attractive markets and we are extremely proud to now offer our games to existing as well as future client portfolios with a Swedish license. This is the next big milestone in our strategy to expand across regulated markets but we are not going to stop here [as] further markets will follow soon,” concluded Niehusen.
Females of Sweden Facing Problems
A worrying stat showing that 64% of total number of gambling addicts in this country were women…
…was revealed earlier this month when Sweden’s Public Health Authority published the results of 2018 survey on gambling habits of citizens, which also showed that 58% of respondents actually took part in some form of gambling last year. In 2018, the total number of gamblers facing addiction issues was 101,000, which is a substantial improvement since 2015’s 134,000.
