MGM China’s MGM Macau casino has just announced the launch of eight digital “fixed terminals” and four “hand-held computer tablets” that offer a selection of games to people spending time in local casino venues. Macau casinos have introduced digital gambling thanks to the cloud-based services provided by local International Alliance Systems Ltd (IAS). The local firm has been ed by GameSource in optimizing digital gambling for the Macau market. Players can choose from terminals and tablets which offer seven casino chances in low denomination values.
Background of the Launch
Macau regulators have been reserved about the introduction of new things regarding the online gambling industry. Local company International Alliance Systems Ltd (IAS) has been working on the launch of digital currency since 2015. According to the words of IAS CEO Anthony IP, it has been “a long journey” to convince regulators in the modification of the gaming sector, but now the company creates the beginnings of Macau’s digital gambling industry.
At the moment, IAS offers about 80 casino chances including slots, table options, and virtual sports. All these products are offered via GameSource and the company looks to introduce additional games and innovative terminals at MGM Macau. The company believes that everything will be ready by the end of the next two months including the expansion of the digital products to MGM China’s brand-new, MGM Cotai venue. IAS CEO, Anthony IP, hopes to attract additional Macau operators and casinos in other Asia-Pacific regions.
The CEO observed that table games are the most in demand options from the local operators. However, IAS is working very hard with third-party producers to extend GameSource’s suite in the period. It is a very reliable provider as it doesn’t keep any player information in systems and its partners are responsible for additional safety of s’ data.
