Scientific Games and Nederlandse Loterij Expand Partnership to Launch OpenSports

Scientific Games Corporation (SG) and Nederlandse Loterij have expanded their partnership to bring the Dutch Lottery’s players a full digital sports betting solution.

The new, expanded partnership will see the launch of OpenSports, the company’s end-to-end sports betting solution that will advance its sports offering.

Dutch players will be able to access OpenSports across mobile devices, as well as desktop devices. As per the partnership, Nederlandse Loterij will receive Scientific’s OpenTrade managed trading services for non-Dutch sports.

Serving as the largest Dutch gaming company, Nederlandse Loterij came into existence in 2016, when De Lotto and the Dutch State Lottery merged, under the control of the Dutch Ministry of Finance. The proceeds from this entity are dedicated to the benefit of Sports and local charitable institutions.

Netherlands, SG serves over 30 lotteries with sports betting solutions in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia and have recently launched their services in one of the world’s largest sports markets, Turkey.
