Scientific Games Corporation and Croatian National Lottery Sign Partnership

Scientific Games Corporation (SG), one of the leading gaming technology companies, has signed a two-year partnership with Hrvatska Lutrija, the Croatian National Lottery.

Both entities have been working together since 2018, and since then, retail sales for the products has grown 60%.

The newly signed two-year partnership states that SG will provide the National Lottery with their instant games portfolio management and with a variety of products that will entertain players in Croatia. These products will also financially valuable projects that contribute to the development of society in the country, such as humanitarian causes, science, education, environmental protection and more.

Growing Instant Game Products

Representatives from the Croatian National Lottery say that they are very pleased about working with SG on growing their instant game products and that they are looking forward to the partnership.

“We are extremely pleased with the growth of our instant game product category since our relationship with Scientific Games began just under two years ago, and we look forward to continuing our good work together for two more years. The incredible growth of the product in this short time can be credited to Scientific Games’ global expertise fully developing instant game portfolios with both entertainment value and the Lottery’s beneficiaries in mind,” said Mario Musa, President of the Board of Hrvatska Lutrija.

Officials from Scientific, which recently extended a partnership with BetMGM, say that growing instant products in Croatia has great potential as the instant games are not fully realized in many European markets.

“There is great potential to responsibly grow the instant product category further in Croatia. As we begin to work even more closely to refine the offering, the future to create proceeds to the Lottery’s beneficiary is very bright. Instant games as a game entertainment category is not fully realized in many European markets, and the National Lottery of Croatia’s recent success is a tremendous example of the product’s potential,” said John Schulz, SVP Global Instant Products for Scientific Games.
