Sportradar AG, a Switzerland-based multinational corporation that collects and analyzes sports data…
…announced that it will partner up with sports programming provider, SportsGrid, to launch a brand-new sports betting network.
This dedicated network will be available to all s completely free of charge, and it will provide coverage and analysis of statistics and odds on various professional sports.
Sportradar, a company that has headquarters in St. Gallen and that provides services to bookmakers, national and international sports federations, and media companies…
…proudly says that this service is the first of its kind in the betting sector.
According to this exclusive deal, SportsGrid will provide original programming for the new sports betting network. On the other hand, Sportradar will have the task of setting up its sports data, over-the-top (OTT) advertising technology and its recently-launched marketing solution, also known as ad:s.
A brand-new marketing solutions service called ad:s, that was launched at the beginning of the year gives the opportunity to both bookmakers and brands to reach a wider betting community.
It is possible through the sponsorship of programming and targeted ad spends across video and audio inventory.
The SportsGrid’s content is, at the moment, accessible via a wide range of online streaming services and digital radio channels…
…that include Amazon Fire TV, AppleTV, Pluto TV, Xumo, Xbox, iHeartRadio, TuneIn and Stitcher.
“Collaborating with the SportsGrid executive team provides us with the platform to mesh our core competencies around betting with their programming talent and address the increasing demand for information and content geared around sports gaming,” Sportradar’s senior vice president in the US for advertising and OTT, Jason Sukhraj, said.
SportsGrid president, Louis Maione, also commented on this new partnership deal…
“This partnership showcases our combined vision of delivering the true convergence of content, data, and gaming to the millions of sports fans craving this informative and entertaining programming.”
“Sportradar’s delivery of a robust video solution ensures our content is placed where fans want to consume it, stamping our foothold as a market leader in the space,” he concluded.
This isn’t the only deal the company signed in the past few months…
… in fact, Sportradar signed many data deals with a huge number of leading sports organizations, like Major League Baseball. Through this deal, it will become the MLB’s official global data partner.
The new partnership will start at the beginning of the 2019 season, which begins on March 20th. This multi-year agreement will give an opportunity to the sports data solutions provider from St. Gallen to distribute MLB’s real-time game statistics all over the world.
The company also signed an official partnership deal with The United Soccer League (USL).
According to the agreement, Sportradar will be monitoring and analyzing USL competitions through their famous, award-winning detection system. It will also be providing the USL with educational solutions…
…as well as allowing them access to the company’s intelligence and investigations services.
